Overview
The ABB Video Indoor Station 4.3 Handset is a component of the ABB-Welcome video entry system. This document provides detailed information on its control elements, terminal descriptions, and technical specifications. Control Elements
The indoor station features several control elements for operation:
1. 4.3" Color Display
The primary visual interface for viewing calls and surveillance feeds.
2. Unlock Button 2
In standby mode, press to release the second lock of the default outdoor station. During a call or communication, press to release the second lock of the calling outdoor station. During surveillance, press to release the second lock of the station under surveillance.
3. Unlock Button
In standby mode, press to release the default lock of the default outdoor station. A long press (3 seconds) enables/disables the "Auto unlock" function on the primary indoor station. During a call or communication, press to release the default lock of the calling outdoor station. During surveillance, press to release the default lock of the station under surveillance.
4. Surveillance Button
In standby mode, press to monitor the default outdoor station. If the "One on" mode is used on the system controller during a call request, this button must be pressed on secondary indoor stations to display the image. During communication, a long press takes a snapshot. During surveillance, press to switch to the next video stream or terminate surveillance.
5. Mute Button
In standby mode, press to activate/mute the ringtone. A long press in standby mutes the ringtone for all indoor stations in the same apartment. During a call request, press to activate/mute the ringtone; the call will terminate after 5 seconds. During communication, press to activate/mute the microphone.
6. Program Button
In standby mode, press to release the second lock of the default outdoor station. If multiple functions are assigned to the program button, pressing it accesses the "Program button" screen.
7. Setting Button
In standby mode, press to enter system settings. During a call request, communication, or surveillance, press to adjust volume, color, contrast, and brightness.
8. *Induction Loop Function
This function applies only to model M22473-W and is designed for hearing-impaired persons. It allows users with hearing aids to hear audio from the outdoor or indoor station.
9. Handset
Pick up the handset within 30 seconds during a call request to accept the call. Hang up the handset during communication to terminate the call.
Terminal Description
The indoor station features various terminals for connection and configuration:
Default Outdoor Station Address
Adjust the jumper connector to set the address of the default outdoor station (1-9).
Indoor Station Selector Switch
Selector switch X10 sets the tens digits, selector switch X1 sets the units digits, and Dip switches X100 and X200 set the hundreds digits for station addressing.
Primary/Secondary Indoor Station
Only one indoor station per apartment can be set as "Primary" (ON=Primary).
Terminal Resistor Switch
In video installations or mixed audio/video installations, this switch must be set to 'RC on' on the last device of the line (ON=RC on).
a1, b1 Bus Connector
This is a potential-free contact, such as a doorbell pushbutton.
