2. Install Smartlife APP
2.1 Download APP: Download the 'Smartlife - Smart Living' app from Google Play or Apple App Store.
2.2 Register account and login:
- Select Country
- Input mobile phone number or Email
- Set password
- Login with new account and password
4. Add Device
4.1 Insert micro SD card
Insert a micro SD card (not included, supports up to 128GB) to record videos when motion is detected and for playback.
Note: Please insert the SD card before powering on the camera, otherwise, it cannot be read.
4.2 Power on the camera
Press and hold the top Power Button for 5 seconds to turn on the camera. If it does not power on, plug in a DC5V 1A/2A phone adapter to charge for 15 minutes first. (Power adapter is not included).
Note: Ensure the indicator light is slowly blinking in RED before setting up Wi-Fi.
4.3 Setup Wi-Fi
4.3.1 Bring the camera and phone close to the router (within 1 to 3 feet / 30 to 100 cm) and connect to Wi-Fi.
Note: The camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
4.3.2 Run the Smartlife App, select "Security & Sensor", then "Smart Camera".
4.3.3 Add Device.
4.3.4 Enter Wi-Fi Password.
4.3.5 Scan with the Camera: When prompted, the mobile phone will display a QR code. Hold the camera 15 to 20 cm in front of the mobile phone for the camera to scan the QR code.
After scanning, the camera should connect. Follow app prompts for confirmation.

6. Share Video to Friend
6.1. Add your Friend's account in the app. Note: Ensure your friend's account is already registered in the Smartlife app.
6.2 Share video to your Friend's account by following the in-app prompts.
7. Alarm Push Notification and playback
The battery camera with PIR sensor is designed for motion-triggered recording, not continuous 24/7 recording. It sends alarm notifications to the phone app and records video to the SD card when PIR detects human body motion events. You can playback these motion videos via the Smartlife app.
When PIR is triggered, camera and system actions:
- Alarm Sound: Ensure Smartlife app notifications are enabled in mobile settings and mobile volume is turned on.
- Alarm Message Notification: Ensure Smartlife app notifications are enabled in mobile settings.
- Alarm snapshot and video record: Ensure an SD card is inserted.
8. Camera Installation
8.1. Placement: The camera can be placed on any flat surface like a table, chair, or floor.
8.2 Install with Wall Mount:
8.2.1 A3 Wall Mount Installation
Fix the iron ball bracket to the wall using screws or double-sided adhesive. Then, attach the camera to the iron ball. This installation method is convenient and allows for easy angle adjustment.
8.2.2 A1 Wall Mount Installation:
Step 1: Prepare a Phillips head screwdriver (not included in the packing list).
Step 2: Use the screwdriver to thread the screw through the 90-degree notch of the iron ball bracket.
Step 3: Screw the bracket into the wall. The 90-degree slot allows adjustment of the camera's monitoring angle.
Step 4: Hang the camera onto the iron ball bracket attached to the wall.
9. To reduce false alarms, please note:
- Do not install the camera facing objects with bright lights (e.g., sunshine, bright lamps).
- Do not place the camera too close to areas with frequent vehicle movement. The recommended distance from a vehicle is 15 meters (55ft).
- Stay away from outlets, air conditioner vents, humidifier outlets, and heat transfer vents of projectors.
- Do not install the camera facing a mirror.
- Keep the camera at least 1 meter away from any wireless devices (including Wi-Fi routers and phones) to avoid wireless interference.
