- 2. Left handle
- 3. Throttle switch assembly
- 4. Panel
- 5. Down handle
- 6. Handle
- 7. Bracket
- 8. Blade

4. Assembly of Machines
1. Connection Frame Assembly
- Install the saddle-shaped long gasket (1) along the outside of the short legs of one down handle (5), aligning the gasket with the down handle hole.
- Insert an M6*90 bolt (2) through the first group of holes (near the bend). Pass it through the corresponding hole of the other down handle, install another saddle-shaped long gasket, add a locknut (3), and tighten by hand.
- Locate the groove under the engine, then separate the two down handles and insert them from the wide side of the groove.
- Insert an M6*80 bolt (4) through the second hole of the down handle, add a locknut, and tighten by hand.
2. Handle Assembly
- Gently press the down handle to align it with the two holes on the carrying handle (6). Slide the handle back and forth on the down handle so it is located 120mm-160mm above the fender (15).
- Install the bracket (7). Unscrew the two bolts above the bracket, assemble the upper groove pressing plate above the down handle (30mm-40mm at the upper end of the bend), place the support leg under the down handle to align it with the pressing plate hole, and then install and tighten the removed bolts.
- Tighten the two nuts to fix the down handle and the gasoline engine.
- Install the right handle bar (8). Align the hole of the groove of the right handle bar with the upper end hole of the down handle. Insert the sector bolt (9) M8x50 from the outside and tighten with butterfly nuts (10) to fix the upper and down handles.
- Install the left handle bar (12) and repeat step C (referring to step D's process for the right handle).
- Install the panel (13). Align it with the left and right handlebar holes, insert two M6*30 bolts (14) from the outside, and tighten them with locknuts.
Warning: The connection should be firm during installation and should not be loose or falling off.
5. Operation
I. Adding Oil
Use 4-stroke oil.
Attention:
- Please use 92# or higher octane pure gasoline.
- Adding fuel must be done under fireproofing instructions.
- Never add fuel to a running or hot engine.
- Fill the fuel tank outdoors with extreme care.
II. Start Up
- Press the carburetor primer bulb 5-6 times until fuel is visible in the tube, then close the primer.
- Note: If the engine is hot, set the choke to the original position.
- Open the accelerator to 1/3 to 1/2.
- Pull the starter smoothly. After the engine starts, open the choke fully.
Note:
- Make sure no gears are locked before starting.
- When the gear blade is running, ensure it does not come into contact with anything or anyone.
III. Assignment (Speed Control)
Strictly control the rotating speed. The free-load forward speed should be approximately 0.5m/sec when the engine speed reaches 8000-9000 RPM.
To ensure the quality of the rotating blade, do not let it touch other objects, such as stones.
IV. Stopping
- Set the throttle lever to idle speed and let the engine run for 2-3 minutes.
- Turn off the stop switch.
Note: In an urgent situation, turn off the throttle switch and then the stop switch. Keep hands away from the rotating blade; the gear will continue to turn after the engine stops.
6. Maintenance
I. Maintenance Body
- After the machine has worked for one or two hours, or when stopping to add oil, check all screws and nuts on the machine to ensure they are not loose.
- Add lubricant to the gear box when the machine has worked for approximately 20 hours.
- When the blade or gear is damaged, please repair or replace it immediately.
II. Maintenance Engine
1. Spark Plug Maintenance
Keep the spark plug clean. The electrode gap should be set appropriately to ensure the engine runs well. The correct gap is around 0.5-0.7mm; check and adjust it frequently if the gap becomes too long or too short.
2. Air Filter Maintenance
The air filter surface should be cleaned often. If the cleaner element is jammed, clean the element. Clean the filter body using gas. Apply a small amount of motor oil to the cleaner element and do not reattach it to the inside cover until the oil has dried. If the sponge is too dirty, replace it with a new one.
6. Tiller Exploded View and Parts List
The following diagram provides an exploded view of the BILT HARD Mini Tiller, showing how components fit together. The accompanying table lists all parts with their corresponding numbers, names, and quantities.
