- Remove the measuring cup and tongs.
- Fill the measuring cup to the FILL LINE (3 oz/80 mL) with DISTILLED WATER and pour onto the HEATING PLATE. For best performance, use recommended water and descale monthly. Mineral water may shorten appliance life. [Caution] DO NOT EXCEED the recommended amount of water. If draining water, POUR AWAY FROM YOU.
- Place the removable tray (H) in the sterilizer heating chamber. Arrange bottles and parts in the tray. Refer to Figures A-G for suggested placement options for Dr. Brown's bottles and parts, showing arrangements for narrow and wide-neck bottles and their components.
- Close the main cover (B) and arrange parts on the upper tray (C) as shown in Figures C and G. This appliance can sterilize items that withstand boiling water, such as pacifiers, teethers, toys, and utensils.
- Close the top cover (A).
- Plug in the power cord and press the ON Button (E). The cycle indicator lights (G) will illuminate RED-BLUE-GREEN initially, then the green light will remain lit, indicating "READY" mode.

- Heat Cycle: The red light indicates the appliance is HEATING to create steam. It stays lit until water is consumed and the cycle is complete (approx. 8 minutes, may vary).
- Cool Down Cycle: The blue light indicates the COOL DOWN cycle. If water was forgotten and the heat cycle started, the unit must complete the cool down cycle before another heat cycle can begin.
- READY (unload) Cycle: When the cool down cycle is complete, the green "READY" light illuminates again. You may unload items or let them air dry.
[Warning] DO NOT open lid or reach over appliance while in use; steam causes burns and serious injuries. DO NOT touch hot surfaces, including top cover, main cover, and trays, during or immediately after use.
- Open the main cover and remove all bottles. Place them on a flat surface. Open the top cover and re-assemble bottles with components.
[Caution] After sterilizing, wait 10 minutes for parts to cool, then open top cover carefully, beware of residual steam. Avoid spilling or splashing water on yourself when removing contents.
