ARCHITECT'S AND ENGINEER'S SPECIFICATIONS
Cabinet: Constructed of 22 gauge steel, welded, phosphate coated for corrosion resistance. Side, front, and back panels are removable for access to elements and fan motor areas. Features individual adjustable louvers with 30-degree downward stops. Control compartment is at the bottom with a hinged cover for access. Combination wall/ceiling bracket included for 5.0 and 7.5 KW units, allowing horizontal and vertical positioning. Cabinet finished in beige polyester powder paint.
Heating Elements: Non-glowing design using 80/20 nickel-chromium resistance wire embedded in magnesium oxide, enclosed in a metal sheath with copper-brazed fins for corrosion resistance and uniform heating. Elements warranted for five years.
Fan Motor: Totally enclosed, permanently lubricated, impedance protected, unit bearing design. Suitable for horizontal or vertical operation with high starting and running torques. For 10-30 KW units, motors are thermal protected with double bearings. Aluminum fan blade is directly connected to the fan motor.
Fan Control: Bimetallic snap-action type activates fan motor after heating elements reach operating temperature and continues until elements cool.
Thermal Cutout: Built-in system automatically shuts off the heater in the event of overheating and reactivates when temperature returns to normal.
Contactor: Factory-installed, heavy-duty, 3-pole contactor for quiet, efficient operation.
