Minimum Closet Clearances

General Clearances:
- Maximum Height: 14 inches (356 mm)
- Side Clearance: 1 inch (25 mm) recommended. (Tested at 0 mm, but more space is advised for installation/servicing).
- Front Clearance (from door): 3 inches (76 mm)
- Top Clearance (from door): 3 inches (76 mm)
Closet Door Ventilation:
- If a closet door or louvered door is installed, top and bottom air openings are required.
- Total ventilation area: 48 square inches (310 cm²).
- Minimum lower opening: 24 square inches (155 cm²).
Additional Notes:
- Consider allowing additional space for companion appliances, walls, doors, and floor moldings.
- Adding 1 inch (25 mm) on all sides of the washer is recommended to reduce noise transfer.
