Package Contents
The package includes the following components:
- Receiver: A compact device designed to connect to your display via HDMI, powered by a USB-A cable.
- Transmitter: A small, portable unit that connects to your source device via USB-C.
Note: If any items are missing or damaged, please contact your local dealer.
Product Description
Receiver
- 1. HDMI Output: Version 1.4; Connect to a projector or display device.
- 2. USB A Input: For power supply only (5 V/0.5 A).
- 3. Pairing / Reset: Button used for pairing devices and restoring default settings.
Transmitter
- 1. USB C Input: Connect to your source device (e.g., laptop, mobile phone, tablet) for video output.
- 2. Pairing Button: Press to turn transmission on/off. Press and hold for five seconds to activate pairing mode when necessary.
- 3. USB C Power Input: Features a passthrough charging port for mobile devices, supporting up to 60W PD (Power Delivery).
Compatibility Notes:
- ¹ Compatible with HDMI 1.4.
- ² Compatible with USB A.
- ³ Compatible with USB C. The source device must support video and power output via USB C port (DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB C).
Connection
Connecting the Receiver
1. Connect the Receiver's HDMI output to the HDMI port of your projector or display.
Note: Ensure the projector or monitor is powered on.
2. Connect the Receiver's USB A input to a USB A port on the projector or display that provides 5 V/0.5 A power.
Connecting the Transmitter
1. Connect the Transmitter's USB C input to the USB C port of your source device (e.g., laptop, mobile phone, tablet).
2. After connection, wait a few seconds for the source device's screen to transmit automatically.
3. Press the pairing button to enable or disable transmission when the source device is sending a signal.
4. The Transmitter's USB C input port supports passthrough charging for mobile devices, delivering up to 60W PD.
Notes:
- Your source device must support video and power output via USB C (DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB C).
- Transmission is supported on laptops (Windows and macOS) and mobile devices (Android and Apple) with DP Alt Mode output.
- Windows and macOS support both duplicate and extend display modes.
- To restore default settings, press and hold the reset button for five (5) seconds.
- HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is supported for DRM streaming.
- Multiple Transmitter devices can be paired with a single Receiver using the same pairing procedure. A Receiver can be paired with up to eight Transmitter devices.
Pairing and Resetting
Pairing Transmitter with Receiver
While not required immediately, you can re-pair the Transmitter and Receiver if connection issues occur.
1. Connect the Receiver to your display device. Refer to the 'Connecting the Receiver' section for details.
2. Using a paperclip or SIM card eject tool, press and hold the Reset button located on the Receiver's HDMI output until an on-screen prompt appears.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
Resetting Receiver to Default Settings
1. Using a paperclip or SIM card eject tool, press and hold the Reset button on the Receiver's HDMI output for approximately 15 seconds, then release.
2. The connected device will restart.
Casting Methods
Casting without Transmitter
The WPD-900 Receiver supports point-to-point transmission for Android, Windows, iOS, and macOS. Connect the receiver to power and a display, then follow the steps below to transmit content.
Miracast
If your Android device supports features like Smart View (Samsung), Multi-screen (Huawei), or Multi-screen Interaction (OPPO), select the display device directly.
Note: Google devices do not support Miracast.

Windows Extend/Cast
Press the 'Windows' key and 'K' simultaneously to access casting options. Select the display device from the list. You can also press the 'Windows' key and 'P' to change display modes (duplicate or extend).

Screen Mirroring for iOS
On your iOS device, swipe to access the Control Center, select 'Screen Mirroring', and then choose your display device.

Extending/Mirroring macOS
Click the display icon in the macOS menu bar. Select mirroring or extending the display to your chosen device. You can also choose 'Use As Separate Display' to extend your desktop.

Substance Compliance: The product adheres to limits for Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6+), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB), Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE), Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP).
Exemptions: Certain components are exempt under RoHS2 Annex III, including copper alloys with up to 4% lead, lead in high-temperature solders, lead in specific glass or ceramic components (e.g., piezoelectric devices), and lead in dielectric ceramic capacitors for 125V AC or 250V DC and above.
Restriction of Hazardous Substances for India
This product complies with India's 'E-waste Rule 2011', restricting lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDEs above 0.1% (0.01% for cadmium), with specific exceptions.
