Use Instructions
- Place the docking station on a stable surface with the M.2 reader slot facing upwards. Carefully insert your M.2 SSD into the slot, ensuring the grooves on the SSD align with the connectors in the slot. Avoid excessive force, twisting, or bending the SSD during insertion to prevent damage.
- Connect the docking station's USB-C cable to a free USB-C port on your computer or smart device. Press the power button on the docking station to turn it on.
The device will automatically detect and install drivers. The LED indicator will show the status:
- Steady blue light: Power on.
- Flashing blue light: Reading or writing data to the disk.
Your computer should automatically recognize the M.2 SSD, assign a drive letter, and make it ready for use. If the SSD is not automatically recognized, you may need to use your device's Disk Management tool to format, partition, and assign a drive letter manually.
Important: If you insert a new M.2 SSD while the docking station is powered on, you must restart the docking station. Always safely eject the M.2 SSD through your device's operating system settings before disconnecting the docking station or powering it off to prevent data corruption or damage to the drive.
Safety Information
To prevent data corruption or damage to the M.2 SSD, always ensure that the drive is safely ejected via your device's operating system settings before disconnecting the docking station or turning it off.
