TOLSEN 10502 Angle Grinder Stand

Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer. Assembly

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual. Required tools (not included): Wrench: 10mm, 14mm, 17mm; Hex key: 6mm.

Step A:

Mount the grinder holder [2] on the base [8] using 2 bolts, nuts and washers. Screw the lateral supports [1] into the threaded openings. Choose the best location depending on the type of grinder.

Step B:

Mount the fixed part [7] of the clamping assembly on the base [8] with 2 hex bolts, washers and nuts, mounting in the longer of the 2 grooves. Mount the clamping part [6] of the clamping assembly in the shorter groove, using the M8x35mm bolt and the square nut. Place the clamping lever [5] over the bolt, aligning the small hole with the threaded hole, and insert a bolt M6x14mm.

Use

1. Inspect the grinder stand for signs of damage before every use. When damage is noticed, do not use it. Contact your local dealer for repair and/or spare parts.
2. Keep the working area clean at all times.
3. Place the grinder stand on a flat and steady surface capable of carrying the weight of the stand and the work piece. Do not use on slopes etc.
4. For security reasons, it is highly recommended to attach the grinder stand to the work bench. Screw 4 screws (not included) through the 4 corners of the base [8].
5. Remove the handle from a suitable grinder (not included, size 180/230mm) and place it in the grinder holder [2].
6. Use the appropriate bolts and nuts [3] or [4] to hold the grinder in place. Apply bolts on both sides of the grinder.
7. Position the lateral supports [1] in such a way that the grinder is securely fixed and cannot move inside the holder [2].
8. Place the work piece on the base [8] against the fixed part [7] of the clamping assembly. When necessary, reposition the latter.
9. [C] Slide the clamping part [6] of the clamping assembly against the work piece and move the clamping lever [5] clockwise to clamp the work piece.
10. Switch on the grinder.
11. [C] When the grinder is at full speed, gently push the machine down.
12. When finished, gently lift the machine.
13. Switch off the grinder and wait until the grinding disc comes to a full stop before handling the work piece.
