This guide provides essential information for setting up and using your Yealink HA64 Pro DECT Wireless Headset.

Note: It is recommended to use the included accessories for optimal compatibility and performance.

2 Overview

Headset Features

  • Microphone: Adjustable boom microphone.
  • Teams button: For Microsoft Teams integration.
  • Voice Assistant button: To activate your device's voice assistant.
  • Call control: Button for managing calls.
  • Busylight: Visual indicator for call status.
  • Type-C port: For charging and data connection.
  • Volume + (2 s): Increases volume, or skips to the next track when held for 2 seconds.
  • Next track: Skips to the next track.
  • Mute: Mutes or unmutes the microphone.
  • Volume - (2 s): Decreases volume, or skips to the previous track when held for 2 seconds.
  • Previous track: Skips to the previous track.
  • Power on/off: Turns the headset on or off.
  • Bluetooth: Bluetooth pairing button.

Touch Screen (on Base)

  • Displays battery status, headset connection status, etc.
  • Allows selection of items and navigation through menus.
  • Shows call status and enables call control.

Base Station Ports

  • Power Port: For connecting the power adapter.
  • Busylight BLT60: Port for the optional Busylight.
  • Mini USB Port: For connecting to a PC or other devices.
  • Micro USB Port: For connecting to a PC or other devices.
  • Type-C USB Port: For connecting to a PC or other devices.

3 Pairing and Connecting Device

Headset Bluetooth Mode

To pair the headset via Bluetooth:

  1. On the headset, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  2. On your device (e.g., smartphone, computer), go to Bluetooth settings and select the headset from the list of available devices.

DECT Mode

To connect the headset using DECT mode:

  1. Connect the base station to your PC using a USB 2.0 cable (USB-A to USB-C).
  2. Connect the base station to a power outlet using the power adapter.
  3. If your desk phone has a headset port, connect the base station to it using the appropriate telephone cable (optional).
  4. For initial use, the headset is paired with the base when docked.

4 Charging

You can charge the headset using either the USB cable directly or by placing it on the charging stand.

  • USB Charging: Connect the USB-C cable to the headset's Type-C port and the other end to a power source.
  • Charging Stand: Place the headset onto the charging stand. Ensure it is properly seated for charging to begin.

Note: It is recommended to fully charge the headset before its first use. Charging takes approximately 1.5 hours.

LED Indicator Status

  • Charging: The LED indicator on the headset will be breathing green.
  • Fully Charged: The LED indicator on the headset will be solid green.

5 Power on/off

To turn the headset on or off, press and hold the power button.

6 Call Control

Manage your calls directly from the headset:

7 Fit Headset

The headset supports dual-sided wearing. Adjust the headband for a comfortable fit. The microphone should be positioned approximately 1/2 inch (12mm) from the corner of your mouth.

8 Replace Ear Cushions

To replace the ear cushions, gently pull the old cushions off and press the new ones into place.

9 Software Management

Download the Yealink USB Connect software from the Yealink website to manage your headset settings and firmware. Visit: https://www.yealink.com/product/yuc
