Before Installation
Warning: Please do not cut the zip tie until you finish installation, preventing the gate from swinging back and forth.

Installation Location
Bottom of Stairs
If the gate is used at the bottom of the stairs, it must be placed on the lowest stair to prevent children from climbing upstairs.

Top of Stairs
If the gate is used at the top of the stairs, it must be placed 15cm (6 inches) back from the top step to prevent children from falling down the stairs.

Warning: NEVER use the gate on stairs without wall cups or other mounting hardware.
Doorway & Opening
Warning: Install the gate as close to the ground as possible.

Pressure-Mounted Installation
Use a tape measure to figure out the opening width.

Insert 4 bolts respectively.

IMPORTANT: Check locations A and B. The distance between the gate and the wall should never exceed 2.75 inches (approximately 7 cm).

Rotate 4 bolts to tighten all bolts inward.

Hardware-Mounted Installation

Warning: NEVER install three extension frames on the same side of the gate.
Using Gate Extensions
Secure gate extensions with reinforcement groove.

Using the Y-Spindle Rod
Secure the gate to round baluster with Y-spindle rods.
For stairs with round baluster or baluster with diameter less than 1.2 inches, install the safety gate with the Y-spindle rod.

Notes
- The gap between the gate latch and the frame is NOT a defect. This gap will be eliminated after installation.
- If you cut off the zip tie before installation, you can still install the safety gate normally.
Important Safety Warnings
Warning: You MUST install wall cups to keep the gate in place. Without wall cups, a child can push out and escape.
Warning: Children have died or been seriously injured when gates are not securely installed.
- ALWAYS install and use the gate as directed using all required parts.
- Install according to manufacturer's instructions.
- STOP using when a child can climb over or dislodge the gate.
- Use only with the locking/latching mechanism securely engaged.
- NEVER use a gate to keep a child away from a pool.
- NEVER leave a child unattended.
- TO prevent falls, never use at the top of stairs without wall mounting cups and a door stopper.
- Always close and lock the gate behind you.
- This product will not necessarily prevent all accidents.
- Do not use if any components are missing or damaged.
- Intended for use with children from 6 months to 24 months.
- Adult assembly required.
- Exercise care when unpacking and assembling the product.
- Install with this side AWAY from the child.
