Introduction

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions, the receipt, and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.

Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the machine:

• WARNING: This sign warns you of dangers to your health and indicates possible injury risks.
• CAUTION: This sign refers to possible hazards to the machine or other objects.
• NOTE: This sign highlights tips and information.

Safety Instructions

1. Keep the device away from heat sources, direct sunlight, moisture (never immerse it in any liquid) and sharp edges.
2. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
3. The device is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose.
4. This device is not suitable for commercial use.
5. To ensure the safety of your children, please keep away from all packaging materials such as plastic bags, boxes, foil etc.
6. WARNING: Do not allow babies and young children to play with the packaging materials. Risk of suffocation!
7. Do not use the appliance outdoors. The appliance is intended for indoor use only.
8. No flames, cigarettes or other possible sources of ignition should be used in or near the appliance.
9. CAUTION: Do not cover the appliance with any object. Fire hazard!
10. CAUTION: Do not put your fingers inside the socket's outlet. Risk of electric shock!
11. Make sure your mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the appliance's rating label.
12. Any electrical devices should not exceed the nominal power of 3680W of the smart plug.
13. Do not connect multiple smart plugs together.
14. Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.
15. Use the appliance only in a properly installed outlet.

Operation of the Device (Using Application)

Connecting the Plug to the Application

To create a new account, follow the registration page and fill in the necessary information required. If you already have an active account, log in with the details you entered and follow the instructions after step 3.

1. Turn on the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi function on your mobile phone.
2. Make sure the mobile phone can connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The power socket cannot connect to a wireless Wi-Fi network that transmits at a frequency of 5GHz, but only to a network that transmits at a frequency of 2.4GHz.
3. After registering and activating your account in the app, login and you will be taken to the application interface.
4. Then open the “Tuya Smart" app and press the “+” icon or “Add device” to connect your device to the app.
5. The app will start searching for available devices nearby. When the power socket appears in the list, tap "Add" and wait for the connection to be completed between your appliance and the app.
6. NOTE: If the connection fails, make sure that the power socket and your mobile phone are close enough to the Wi-Fi router.
7. Insert the Wi-Fi password in the Tuya app to complete the connection of the device with the app.

The device is ready for use through the Tuya app. You can activate the device and set it up by using the app.

To restore factory settings, press and hold the ON / OFF switch.

NOTE: If the ON / OFF indicator is not flashing, press and hold the ON/OFF switch to reset and start setting the appliance from the beginning.

4. Indicator that shows if the appliance is operating

6. Countdown: Menu for setting the appliance to operate for a specific duration.
7. Electricity counting: Measurement of consumption (hourly, daily, weekly etc.)

ON/OFF Switch

Connect your device to the socket of the plug and turn it on/off from anywhere using the app.

• Press the ON/OFF switch once to activate the connected device.
• Press the ON/OFF switch again to deactivate the connected device.

The daily and monthly energy consumption will appear on the screen.

NOTES:

• The switch of the connected device must be in the ON position for it to operate through the smart plug.
• If the current flow exceeds 17A, the plug will automatically activate overload protection. Reset the plug and then use it again.

Timer

You can set a specific time for turning the device on/off through the timer settings menu. There is also an option to activate/deactivate based on the sunrise and sunset times at the device's location. This option is ideal for outdoor lighting. The local sunrise and sunset times are automatically set via Wi-Fi connection.

Electricity Consumption

Go to the "Electricity Consumption" menu to view the hourly, daily, and monthly energy consumption data of the power socket.

Disposal of Appliance and Accessories

This symbol appearing on the product, its accessories or accompanying manuals indicates that the product and its electronic accessories should not be disposed of with other household trash. In order to avoid possible harmful effects on the environment or health due to uncontrolled waste disposal, please separate these products from other types of waste and recycle them. Household users should contact either the store where they purchased this product or their local services for details of where and how they can return these products for environmentally safe recycling.
