Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Assemble Frame Supports

This diagram shows the assembly of the crank frame (A) and end frame (B) into the frame support (C), secured with self-tapping screws (N) and plastic plates (K).

  1. Insert crank frame "A" into frame support "C". Secure it with self-tapping screw "N" and plastic plate "K".
  2. Insert end frame "B" into frame support "C". Secure it with self-tapping screw "N" and plastic plate "K".

Step 2: Determine Tube Length

This diagram illustrates how to measure the required tube length "X" between the hexagonal tube connectors on hub "A+C" and "B+C" when frames are positioned on each side of the pool. It also shows the use of base plates (I) for pools with ledges and clamps (J) for pools with tubular frames.

The required length of the tube set is the length “X” from the end of the hexagonal tube connector on hub "A+C" to the end of the hexagonal tube connector on hub "B+C", when both frames are positioned on each side of the pool.

For Pools with Ledge:

To measure the length "X", slide the two frame bottoms to the base plate "I" respectively until they stop at the rib on the base plate. Place two frames on the ledge and measure the distance accordingly.

For Pools with Tubular Frame:

Slide "J" clamps onto the bottom of the two frames. Place them on the tubular frame and secure their position by tightening the screws on “J”, then measure the distance accordingly.

Step 3: Tube Configurations and Dimensions

This section provides a visual representation of different tube configurations (1xS+1xR+1xQ, 1xR+2xQ, etc.) with corresponding pool widths and total overlap sizes. A table details these configurations.

Minimum tube set overlapping: 1.3 FT (40 CM).

Maximum loading weight of a wet solar cover: 16 KGS (35 lbs) on maximum tube set span.

NOTE: The holes on tube "S” or “Q” should be positioned at both ends of the complete tube configuration, ready for connecting the hexagonal tube connectors on “A” and “C”.

3xR + 4xQ16 ft / 4.8m1.3 ft / 40 cm67.9 ft / 237cm

Step 4: Secure Tube Connections

This diagram shows how to secure the connection of tube "R" with "Q" or "S" inside by tightening three screws "P" or "T" in the holes on tube "R". It indicates the positions of screws (P, T) and tubes (S/Q, R).

To secure the connection of tube “R” with “Q”/”S” inside, tighten three screws “P” or “T” in the holes on tube "R" as shown. A minimum overlapping of 30cm (11.5in) is required.

It is suggested to use "T" screws to fix it in case "P" screws fall out of the tube when used for a long time. If a screw driller is available, use "T" screws; otherwise, use "P" screws.

Step 5: Connect Tube Sets to Frames

This diagram illustrates the process of sliding the preassembled tube sets onto the hexagonal tube connectors of frames "A" and "B", and then securing them with screw "M". It shows frames A and B with attached supports and the tube being connected, with screws M, and tubes S/Q.

  1. The holes on tubes "Q” or “S” should be positioned at both ends of the complete tube configuration, ready for connecting the hexagonal tube connectors on “A” and “B”.
  2. After defining your desired tube configuration, slide the end of preassembled tube sets onto the hexagonal tube connector "A" and "B".
  3. Ensure the second pre-drilled holes on the tubes "Q" or "S" and hexagonal tube connectors are aligned for screw assembly.
  4. Secure the screw assembly with screw “M”.

Step 6: Install for Pools with Ledge

This diagram shows frames A and B with base plates (I) being placed on a pool ledge. It highlights the orientation of the base plates and the use of screws (L) and bolts/nuts (O).

  1. Place both frames with base plate “I” on the bottom, on the ledge.
  2. Note: Pay attention to the base plate direction on the ledge. The side opening of base plate "I" under frame "A+C" should face perpendicular to the ledge and outward from the pool. The side opening of base plate “I” under frame "B+C" should face parallel to the ledge.
  3. For wood or plastic ledges, use self-tapping screws “L” to secure the base plate directly to the ledge.
  4. For metal ledges, drill holes corresponding to the holes of the base plate "I". Use bolt and nut "O" to secure the base plate.
  5. If it is necessary to adjust the tube length, loosen the 3 screws “P” on the tube “R” on either end of the tube set. Adjust the length as required and tighten the screws “P” securely.

Step 7: Install for Pools with Tubular Frame

This diagram shows frames A and B with clamps (J) positioned on a tubular pool frame. It illustrates the tightening of screws to secure the position.

  1. Position both frames with clamp “J” on the bottom, onto the tubular frame and tighten the screws to make sure their position.
  2. If it is necessary to adjust the tube length, loosen the 3 screws "P" on the tube "R" on either end of the tube set. Adjust the length as required and tighten the screws “P” securely.

Step 8: Secure Threaded Knob

This diagram shows the threaded knob (D) being screwed into frame "A".

Ensure the screw "D" (threaded knob) is screwed into frame "A".

Step 9: Attach Straps and Cover

This diagram illustrates the process of attaching the buckle and strap components (F, E, H) to the tube and then connecting them to the pool cover. It shows straps (F) on the tube, belt (E) attached to F, and assembly (H) attached to E, then connected to the cover.

  1. Stick 8 "F" (buckle and strap) onto the tube at even intervals.
  2. Stick belt "E" onto "F".
  3. Assemble "H" onto belt "E".
  4. Open the pool cover over the pool and set it into position.
  5. Pinch 8 holes on the cover and then attach “H” through them.
  6. Ensure "H" is positioned along the cover at the same intervals as the straps are attached to the tube.
