Disclaimer
- Please follow the set-up and usage instructions in the print material that came with this Dashboard Camera (dash cam) product.
- Do not set/install this dash cam at a place that would obstruct or reduce a driver's view; ensure usage complies with pertinent vehicle codes of your state, province, territory, or country.
- Post required notices of recordation to occupants inside the vehicle if voices or other information/signals pertaining to in-vehicle activities will be recorded.
- Do not change the dash cam's setting or mode of operation when the vehicle is in motion.
- Optional driving warning signals, including visual or audible reminders, should not replace your decision-making and judgment for proper vehicle operation.
- Do not leave the dash cam in a visible spot when no one is inside the vehicle to avoid attracting break-ins.
- Avoid extended exposure of the dash cam to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can degrade or damage the unit and its functionality.
- Examine, check, and/or verify the dash cam and memory cards at least every six (6) months to ensure video reception and recording are working properly. Verify the dash cam unit, visible lights, and audible sounds are working normally for each use. If signs of non-operation or malfunction appear, seek to replace the product and check warranty coverage.
- The dash cam unit may have additional functionality, such as transmission and recordation of audible or GPS signals. If you have privacy concerns, follow instructions to disable these functions.
- Use the dash cam unit as intended. Do not use it in a way that is illegal, physically damages the unit, or causes danger to the safe operation of the vehicle or its occupants.

About Usage
- If your vehicle still provides power when off, unplug the device when parking for extended periods to avoid draining the vehicle's battery.
- The embedded Supercapacitors help save recorded files even if power is lost.
- To avoid file corruption, do not eject the Micro SD Card immediately after powering off.
- It is recommended to use the provided adapter.
- To enable detecting and monitoring functions, the power supplier must be enabled.
About Micro SD Card
- Use only Class 10 Micro SD cards with at least 16GB memory (up to 128GB).
- Format the Micro SD card before use. To format, navigate to Settings > Format SD Card > Confirm.
- The following table shows card capacity and recording time (reference only).

1. Product Introduction

1.2 Driving Recorder Overview

2. Installation and Removal
2.1 Location
For optimal performance and view, follow these placement guidelines:
Best mounting location: Center of the windshield.
Connection: Connect to car charger.

[Warning]: We are not responsible for any damage caused to, or by, the air bag due to incorrectly placing the device within the safety bag area.
- For a better view, try to install in the center of the windshield.
- To ensure a clear view, make sure the lens is located where the windshield wiper wipes the window.
- Ensure the device is not installed where it will interfere with the air bag.
- Make sure the device will not be obstructed by windshield's window tint.
- Clean the area where you wish to place the dash cam before mounting. DO NOT move the device for a 24-hour period after mounting.
3. Start and Go
3.1 Power On
Insert the car charger cable into the car's cigarette lighter and the other end into the mini USB port on the device. Ensure the Micro SD Card is installed in the Micro SD Card slot. Upon turning on, the system will start recording automatically. The LED light will turn green when recording mode has started.
*Reminder: Please format the Micro SD card before starting recording. Refer to page 2 for instructions.
3.2 Power Off
To turn off the device, hold the power button for at least 5 seconds. To avoid corrupting the last recorded file, do not eject the SD Card immediately after powering off.

3.5 Recording
[Recording Status Icons Description: The display shows various status indicators during recording.]
- Recording Time: Displays current recording duration (e.g., 02:48).
- Audio Recording Indicator: Shows if audio recording is active.
- Motion Detection: Indicates if motion detection is enabled.
- Monitor Mode: Shows if monitor mode is active.
- Stop Sign Recognition: Indicates if stop sign recognition is active.
- Current date/time: Displays the current date (e.g., 2015/08/26) and time (e.g., 11:31:20).
- Stop & Go: Indicates the Stop & Go feature status.
- Emergency Recording: Shows when an emergency recording is in progress.
- Battery: Displays battery status.
- GPS: Indicates GPS signal status.
4. Settings
Press the [Dropdown Arrow Icon] button to enter "Settings".
Record Mode
- Automatic Recording: Records continuously.
- Monitor Mode: Takes snapshots every second while recording.
- Motion Detection: Starts recording when movement is detected. Stops after 60 seconds of no movement and switches to detection mode.
This function only works when the device has a continual power source after the vehicle's engine is turned off.
Driving Safety
- Stop Sign Recognition: The device recognizes Stop Signs and warns with a beep.
- Stop & Go: After stopping for at least 10 seconds (e.g., at red lights), the device alerts you when the car ahead moves.
- Driver Fatigue Alarm: When activated, sets periodic rest reminders. Options: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or Off.
- Light Reminder: When activated, provides an audio alert and displays a light alert icon in dark environments (e.g., tunnels, parking structures). Alerts can be turned on/off.
- TPMS: The GoSafe 760 supports the TireSafe D10E (sold separately), a Tire Pressure Monitoring System that displays tire pressure and temperature.
Tire Pressure & Temperature Display
The device can display tire pressure and temperature information when connected to a compatible TPMS accessory.

Note: This device does not support both the GPS antenna and TPMS simultaneously. Use only one optional accessory at a time.
Additional Settings
- Volume: Set volume level.
- Microphone: Enable or disable voice recording.
- EV (Exposure Value): Adjust for better effect in different lighting conditions. Options: -1.0, -2/3, -1/3, +0.0, +1/3, +2/3, and +1.0.
- Resolution: Set recording resolution.
- Bump Recording: Set G-sensor impact sensitivity. Options: Low, Medium, High, and OFF.
Further Settings
- Date/Time: Set date, time, and date format.
- Time Zone: Set the device's time zone.
- Daylight Saving Time: Enable or disable daylight saving time.
- Screen Saver: Set screen saver for stand-by mode.
- Power on/off Sound: Set power sound on or off.
- Video Stamp:
- Date Stamp: Enable or disable date stamp on recordings.
- GPS Stamp: Enable or disable coordinate stamp on recordings.
- Language: Set display language. Options include Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Français, Español, Deutsch, Italiano, Japanese, Portuguese, and Russian.
- Format Memory Card:
- [Warning]: All data on the MicroSD will be deleted. Data is irrecoverable after formatting. Please back up videos and photos before formatting the MicroSD.
- Format Warning: Set format prompt interval. Options: 15 days, 30 days, 60 days, or OFF.
- Default: Reset all values to factory default.
- Version: Check the current firmware version.
5. Record/Play/Delete Record & Snapshot Function
5.1 Video Recording Circulation
- Video recording starts automatically after powering on with the Micro SD Card inserted.
- Each recorded file is 5 minutes long; older footage is replaced when the Micro SD Card is full.
5.2 Emergency Recording
- Manual File Backup: Hold the [Emergency Mode Icon] button to backup a file, preventing it from being overwritten. An emergency file icon [Warning Icon] will appear on the LCD screen when an emergency file is being recorded.
- Auto Backup: If the G-Sensor is activated by a sudden impact, the device automatically locks the file to prevent overwriting.
5.3 Snapshot
- Hold the [Down Arrow Icon] for 3 seconds to take a snapshot while in recording mode.
- Snapshot images are located in the PHOTOS folder on the Micro SD Card, alongside video files.
- The [Camera Icon] will be shown after taking a snapshot; this does not interrupt video recording.
5.4 Copying Files with USB Connection
- Connect the device to your computer using a USB to mini-USB cable. It should be recognized as a removable device or show up as "No Name" on your desktop.
- Video recording files (circulating and emergency) are located in the \PAPAGO folder on the "Removable Device".
- Copy files to your computer using copy/paste or drag-and-drop.
5.5 Copying Files from Micro SD Card
- Shut down the device and eject the Micro SD Card. (To avoid corrupting the last recorded file, do not eject immediately after powering off.)
- Insert the Micro SD Card into an adapter, then insert the adapter into a Micro SD Card reader connected to your computer. The computer will automatically detect the SD Card.
- Video recording files (circulating and emergency) are located in the \PAPAGO folder on the "removable device".
- Copy files to your computer using copy/paste or drag-and-drop.
5.6 Play/Delete Video or Photo
- Hold the [Up Arrow Icon] to enter the playback menu and preview recorded files.
- Choose Type: Videos (regular recorded videos), Emergency (videos recorded in emergency mode), or Photos (snapshots taken).
- Use the up/down buttons to browse files. Click "OK" to select a file for preview.
- Click the OK button to play a file or the up button to delete it.

Limited Warranty Statement
- This limited warranty is given only to the original purchaser of the product.
- The limited warranty is restricted to the country/region of product purchase and is valid only in countries where the product is sold.
- The limited warranty lasts for 12 months from the date of original purchase; the invoice will be required as proof of purchase.
- The warranty covers expenses for inspecting and repairing the product during the warranty period.
- Defective products must be delivered by the purchaser to the reseller store or an authorized dealer, along with the warranty card and invoice.
- Repaired products will be returned as a swap unit in good working condition. Replaced faulty products or components will not be returned to the purchaser.
- Repaired or replaced products continue to be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period.
- The warranty does not apply to defects resulting from use of the product in a manner other than the normal and customary way.
- The warranty does not apply to defects resulting from operating with components or accessories not included in the original package.
- PAPAGO! reserves the right to add, delete, or amend terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
