Introduction

This user manual provides detailed instructions for the Redmi Watch 2 Lite (Smart Watch), also known as Redmi Akıllı Saat 2 Lite, model M2109W1. Please read this guide carefully before using the product and keep it for future reference.

This device is compliant with Turkish infrastructure.

Overview

The Redmi Watch 2 Lite features a display, a heart rate sensor, contact points, a function button, and comes with a charging cable.

Note: Illustrations of the product, accessories, and user interface in this manual are for reference purposes only. Actual products and functions may vary due to product improvements.

Display: The screen of the smartwatch.

Heart Rate Sensor: Located on the back of the watch to measure heart rate.

Contact Points: Used for charging the device.

Function Button: A button on the side of the watch for various functions.

Charging Cable: The cable used to charge the watch.

Setup and Usage

Wearing the Watch

For daily use, wear the watch about one finger's width away from your wrist bone, ensuring it fits comfortably. Adjust the strap so the heart rate sensor can collect data normally.

Note: Wearing the watch too loosely may affect the heart rate sensor's data collection.

Pairing

To better manage your watch and access more services, download and install the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app on your smartphone and log in to your Xiaomi account.

Note: Operations described here may differ slightly from the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app due to updates. Please follow the on-screen instructions.

1. Turn on the watch by pressing and holding the function button. Scan the QR code displayed on the watch with your phone to download and install the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app. You can also download and install the app from your app store or by scanning the QR code provided.
2. Open the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app and log in to your Xiaomi account. Select the "Add device" option and follow the instructions to add your watch.

Pairing Process: If the same pairing code is displayed on both your phone and watch, tap "Pair" to complete the pairing process.

Notes on Pairing:

• Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the watch is properly connected to your phone during pairing.
• If the pairing code appears on the watch but not on the phone, check your phone's notifications for a pairing request.
• If the watch cannot be found when trying to add it to the app, or if it cannot connect to your phone during use, press and hold the function button for 3 seconds, select the reset option, reset the watch to factory settings, and try again.

Using the Watch

• View notifications: Swipe down from the main screen.
• Open Control Panel: Swipe up from the bottom of the main screen.
• Change Widgets: Swipe left or right on the main screen.
• Go back: Swipe from the left edge to the right on other screens.

GPS and A-GPS (Assisted GPS)

The watch supports tracking with the Global Positioning System (GPS). During outdoor exercises like running, GPS automatically starts and sends you a notification when positioning is successful. It stops tracking when you stop exercising. Open outdoor areas are best for GPS tracking. Holding your arm up in crowded areas may help GPS position better. It is recommended to start your workout only after GPS has started.

The watch has an Assisted GPS (A-GPS) feature that can speed up GPS positioning by directly receiving data from GPS satellites. Ensure your watch is connected to your phone via Bluetooth. This way, data from the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app is automatically synchronized with the watch, and A-GPS data is also updated automatically. If A-GPS data is not synchronized for seven consecutive days, its validity period expires, and you need to re-acquire positioning information. You can go to the outdoor exercise page on your watch to update positioning information.

Charging

Charge your watch immediately when the battery level is low. Attach the charging cable as shown in the figure.

Note: Ensure there are no conductive materials on the magnetic charging cable when it is connected to power, otherwise a short circuit may occur.

Adjusting and Attaching/Detaching the Strap

Adjust the buckle position according to your wrist circumference. Refer to the figures below for attaching or detaching the strap. You can pull the strap to see if it is attached properly.

Detaching the strap: Press the release button with one hand and detach the strap with the other.

Attaching the strap: Align the strap slot with the watch and attach the strap, listening for a click to confirm it is in place.

Safety Precautions

• When using the watch to measure your heart rate, please keep your wrist still.
• The watch is 5 ATM water-resistant. It can be worn while swimming in swimming pools or at the seaside. However, it cannot be used in hot tubs, saunas, or in areas with high temperatures and/or humidity, nor for diving, scuba diving, or water skiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion. Remember to take off the watch when washing clothes.
• The watch's touchscreen does not support operation underwater. If the watch comes into contact with water, wipe off excess water with a soft cloth before use.
• Do not wear the watch too tightly during daily use. Keep the contact area dry and clean the strap regularly with water. If you experience redness or swelling in the contact area, stop using the watch immediately and seek medical attention.
• Product information is indicated in the strap slot. You can remove the strap to check.
• Please use the charging cable provided with the watch to charge it. Use only certified power adapters supplied by local safety standard-compliant or authorized manufacturers.
• During charging, ensure the power adapter, charging cable, and watch are in a dry environment. Do not touch these products with wet hands or expose them to rain or other liquids.
• The watch's operating temperature is between 0°C and 45°C. If the ambient temperature is too high or too low, the watch may malfunction.
• The watch has a built-in battery. Do not remove or replace the battery yourself to prevent damage to the battery or watch. The battery can only be replaced by authorized service providers. Otherwise, it may lead to hazards, and personal injury may occur if the wrong type of battery is used.
• Do not disassemble, strike, crush, or incinerate the watch. If there is any swelling or liquid leakage, stop using the battery immediately.
• Never dispose of the watch or its battery by throwing it into a fire to prevent explosion.
• This watch is not a medical device. Any data or information provided by the watch should not be used as a basis for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of diseases.
• The watch and accessories may contain small parts. Keep the watch out of reach of children to prevent suffocation or other hazards that children may cause, or damage.
• This watch is not a toy. Please keep it out of reach of children.
• If the watch will not be used for a long time, fully charge it, then turn it off and store it in a cool, dry place. Charge the watch at least once every 3 months.
• If you experience redness or swelling in the contact area on your skin, please stop using the product immediately and seek medical attention.
• Do not dispose of the battery in trash bins designated for household waste. Dispose of the battery in accordance with local laws or regulations.
• Storing the battery in environments with excessively high temperatures may cause explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas from the battery.
• Exposure of the battery to excessively low air pressure may cause explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas from the battery.
• Keep the product's indicator out of the reach of children and animals while the product is in use.

Energy Consumption

Cleaning, Maintenance, and Usage Errors

Use your device, battery, charger, and accessories with care. The following recommendations will help you keep your device in working order.
