How to Steer Your Lighting
When the driver is connected to the mains, it is possible to turn ON/OFF all products connected to the driver. For dimming or connecting to IKEA Smart lighting products, a separate steering device (e.g., a remote control) is required.
The steering device must be paired with your driver(s). If you have multiple drivers, each can be paired to the steering device for simultaneous ON/OFF or dimming control of the entire setup.
Pairing a Steering Device to Your Driver
- Connect at least one product to the driver before pairing. Ensure mains power is ON.
- Locate the pairing symbol on the driver. Hold the steering device close to the pairing symbol (within 5 cm).
- Press and hold the pairing button on the steering device for at least 10 seconds. A red light will illuminate steadily on the steering device. The connected product will dim and flash once, indicating successful pairing.
How to Factory Reset Your Driver
If the driver is unresponsive or you wish to un-pair it from a steering device, a factory reset may be necessary. To force a factory reset, carefully press and hold the small button (marked RESET) on the driver enclosure with a pen tip. Alternatively, toggle the main switch 6 times.
Important Information
- The driver is for indoor use only and operates within temperatures ranging from 5°C to 45°C.
- Avoid exposing the driver to direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent overheating.
- The stated radio range between the driver and steering device is measured in open air. Building materials and unit placement can affect wireless connectivity range.
Care Instructions
Clean the driver by wiping it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as they can damage the product.

Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage points or other risks.
