Practice Before Operation

⚠️ Failure to follow the instructions below may result in damage to the electric wheelchair or serious injury.

Find an open area such as a park and have an assistant to help you practice until you can operate this vehicle skillfully.

Make sure that the power is off before getting on or off the seat. Set the speed control button according to your driving needs. It is recommended to keep the speed at the slowest shift until you are familiar with the driving characteristics of this vehicle.

Follow these instructions to reduce the chance of brakes going out of control or serious damage to the electric wheelchair.

Immediate Power Off Conditions

When the following occurs, immediately turn off the electric wheelchair power supply:

  1. Sudden movement
  2. Operation direction is not controlled
  3. Brake failure

On/Off Button and Power Display

The ON/OFF button provides power to the electronic components and the wheelchair motor. It can be used to stop the wheelchair in emergencies.

The power display shows the current battery power. The indicator light shows the wheelchair is on.

Turn On the Power

Press the power button. Each indicator will light up. The current battery charge status will also be shown.

Icon: An icon representing the power button.

Turn Off the Power

Press the power button. The indicator light will go off.

Joystick Functionality

The main function of the Joystick is to control the speed and direction of the wheelchair. The operation of the joystick movement determines the wheelchair's speed in that direction. The farther the joystick moves from the center, the faster the wheelchair runs. The wheelchair automatically brakes when the joystick is released.

Speed Display (S1-S5)

This indicates the wheelchair speed setting. There are 5 levels: S1 is the lowest speed, and S5 is the highest speed.

Horn

Press the Horn button to emit a sound.

Deceleration Button

This button reduces the speed setting gear; the corresponding speed indicator light turns off. It has no effect when driving.

Accelerated Button

This button increases the speed setting gear; the corresponding speed indicator light turns on. It has no effect when driving.

Self-Help Guidance

If a system failure occurs, check the position of the flashing lamp on the speed display and battery indicator. Refer to the "controller status indication description" list for corresponding abnormal sounds and processing.

Rear Wheel Clutch Fork

Clutch Mode: When parked, the electric brake engages. To push the wheelchair manually, push the red handle to "manual mode". Electric drive becomes invalid.

Handle Model: Simply push the red handle to manual mode.

ATTENTION: Keep the wheelchair in electric state. The clutch device is only for manual pushing when needed (e.g., in shops or crowded places).

Push the Wheelchair

  1. Pull the two motor clutch forks to the left or right.
  2. Push the wheelchair.

Diagram: An image shows the rear wheels and the clutch mechanism with a red handle. Arrows indicate pulling the forks.

Fold Your Wheelchair

  1. Step 1: Pull the small spanner on the outside of the left and right armrests downwards to make the armrests loose. (Note: Some may have push buttons that release the armrest.)
  2. Step 2: Loosen the rear lock, put the U-shaped locking down.
  3. Step 3: Hold the push frame with one hand and the seat cushion frame with the other. Use both hands to force it until the wheelchair is completely folded.

Diagrams: Images show the armrest release mechanism, the rear lock, and the wheelchair in folded and unfolded states.

Armrest Adjustment and Battery Removal

Back Flip Rotating Armrest

Pull the small spanner on the outside of the left and right armrests down so they are loose, then turn them back. For users whose legs cannot bear weight or turn the armrest independently, an assistant's help is recommended. Assistants must have appropriate training.

Remove the Battery

  1. Step 1: Pull out the power plug.
  2. Step 2: Hold down the locking catch to disengage the battery from the frame and pull out the battery compartment.

Diagrams: Two images show the process of disconnecting the battery.

Battery Use and Care

Battery Specifications

The electric wheelchair uses a 24V, maintenance-free, sealed lithium battery. It is designed to handle deep discharges and cannot be replaced. It is not compatible with car batteries.

Battery Charge and Discharge

To maximize battery efficiency:

  1. Fully charge the battery during initial use for optimal performance (achieve 90% effect).
  2. When using at home or in the yard, start slowly and do not drive too far until you adapt to the control system. Allow the battery to discharge fully.
  3. Charge the battery for 8-14 hours. It can then operate at over 90% potential.
  4. After 4-5 charge/discharge cycles, the battery effect reaches 100% for long-term use.

Important Battery Information

Charger

The charger is a crucial component that provides energy to your wheelchair safely, quickly, and easily.
