Danfoss EvoFlat 4.0 F: Domestic Hot Water and Direct Heating Module

Product Overview

The Danfoss EvoFlat 4.0 F is a thermal supply module specifically designed for multi-family buildings requiring central heat production or district heating. It sets new standards with its innovative design, featuring functional blocks made from specially reinforced PPS composite material. This construction makes the module exceptionally lightweight, limits internal heat emission, and its smooth surface reduces the risk of scaling and obstruction.

Components are assembled using new push-fit connectors, eliminating the need for re-tightening during installation and commissioning, unlike conventional screw-type connections.

Primary Side

The supply module is equipped with two differential pressure regulators and a central filter. A summer bypass provides constant heat to the supply line during shutdown periods, ensuring a rapid response time for domestic hot water (DHW) in summer. The bypass is regulated by a thermostat.

Heating (CHF)

The module supplies radiator heating circuits with the required flow temperature. An integrated differential pressure regulator ensures optimal heating conditions. A zone valve is included on the return line. Temperature regulation can be achieved using an optional actuator and a programmable room thermostat.

Domestic Hot Water (DHW)

Four heat exchanger sizes are available, covering needs from 37 kW to 70 kW. The EvoFlat 4.0 F features an intelligent regulator that adjusts the primary flow based on DHW temperature and the volume of water drawn. An integrated differential pressure regulator on the primary DHW circuit eliminates the need for hydraulic balancing of the module. A DHW recirculation kit can be added as an option.

A DHW recirculation kit with a pump and safety valve (10 bar) can be ordered for easy connection to the supply module. This increases the required cabinet width to at least 690 mm.
