Features Overview

The CAT 1750A Lithium Professional Power Station includes:

Digital LCD Screen Indicators

The LCD screen provides various indicators:

  1. Battery Status Icon: Shows current battery charge level.
  2. Digital Display: Varies by function (e.g., voltage, PSI).
  3. Compressor Pressure Indicator: Displays current pressure when compressor is active.
  4. USB Icon: Indicates USB ports are in use.
  5. Voltage Indicator: Shows current voltage.
  6. Compressor Icon: Indicates compressor is active.
  7. Fault Icon: Indicates a fault condition.

Operation

Viewing Battery Status

Press the Battery Status Button. The Battery Status Icon and Battery Voltage Indicator (e.g., 11.4V) show the charge level:

Charging/Recharging

Important: Unit is partially charged; fully charge before first use. Recharge after each use to prolong battery life. Charge every 3-6 months if not in frequent use. All other functions must be off during recharging.

CAUTION: Failure to keep battery charged will cause permanent damage and result in poor jump starting performance.

The unit stops charging if overheated or too cold, resuming automatically after cooling/warming. The LCD will show Battery Icon, Voltage, and flashing Fault Icon during charging.

Procedure (USB Charging Cable & External USB Power Port)

  1. Ensure all other unit functions are off.
  2. Insert USB-A or USB-C plug of charging cable into external device's USB power port.
  3. Insert USB-C plug of charging cable into unit's USB-C port.

The backlit LCD will show Battery Icon, Voltage, and charging bars. Charging is slower with USB-A to USB-C cable; manufacturer recommends USB-C to USB-C with PD 30W output for full recharge within 10 hours.

Jump-Starting Using the Smart Cables

Important: All features except area light must be off. Unit must be upright. Connect/disconnect clamps only after unplugging power source. Engine must not be running. Never allow clamps to touch each other.

Procedure

  1. Position Smart Cables Controller to avoid damage from car hood/doors/moving engine parts.
  2. Stay clear of fan blades, belts, pulleys.
  3. Check battery post polarity (positive is larger).
  4. Connect Smart Cables Connector to Smart Cables Port.
  5. Connect positive (RED) clamp to positive ungrounded battery post. Connect negative (BLACK) clamp to negative battery post, vehicle chassis, or engine block away from battery. Do not connect to carburetor, fuel lines, or sheet-metal body parts.
  6. When properly connected, Bi-Color Status Indicator on Smart Cables Controller will light green. If red, clamps are incorrectly connected; disconnect and reconnect.
  7. Turn on ignition and crank engine in 5-6 second bursts until it starts.
  8. Disconnect jump-starter: First remove negative (BLACK) clamp from chassis/battery, then positive (RED) clamp from battery. Disconnect Smart Cables Connector from Smart Cables Port.
  9. Store Smart Cables Controller safely.
  10. Recharge unit fully.

Important Notes: If internal lithium battery voltage is low or Smart Cables Controller overheated, Bi-Color LED Status Indicator will light red. Disconnect and recharge/cool. If cranking current/time exceeds parameters, indicator flashes red for 50 seconds (cooling period) then green.

CAUTION: To avoid property damage:

Portable Compressor

Built-in compressor for vehicle/trailer tires and recreational inflatables. Nozzle adapter included. Hose stored in groove. Compressor Power Button and Increase (+)/Decrease (-) Pressure Control Buttons on control panel.

WARNING: Follow all safety instructions in "Specific Safety Instructions for Compressors" section.

CAUTION: To reduce injury/property damage: Never leave unattended. Do not operate continuously for more than ~10 minutes (depending on ambient temp) to avoid overheating. If longer operation is needed, turn off for ~30 minutes to cool.

Inflating Tires or Products with Valve Stem

  1. Screw Sure Fit® nozzle onto valve stem (do not overtighten).
  2. Press Compressor Power Button. LCD will display "0.0 PSI".
  3. Use "+" and "-" buttons to set desired pressure (3-120 PSI). Unit beeps with each press.
  4. Press Compressor Power button again to begin inflating. Compressor icon flashes, digital display shows current pressure.
  5. Compressor automatically stops when desired pressure is reached.
  6. Press Compressor Power button again to turn off unit.
  7. Unscrew/remove nozzle.
  8. Allow unit to cool, then recharge before storing.
  9. Store hose and nozzle.

Inflating Other Inflatables Without Valve Stems

  1. Screw nozzle adapter into Sure Fit® nozzle (do not overtighten).
  2. Insert nozzle adapter into item to be inflated.
  3. Follow steps 2-4 from "Inflating Tires or Products With Valve Stem" section.

Important: Small items inflate rapidly; take care not to over-inflate.

USB Ports

One USB-A and one Type-C USB port on top. USB-A provides up to 15W. USB-C provides up to PD 30W. Total output is up to 15W when both used simultaneously. USB ports do not support data communication; they only provide power.

Important: If low battery voltage, overload, or short circuit fault occurs, USB ports shut down. Disconnect devices, check charge, allow unit to cool. If fault persists with in-spec device, have device checked.

Using the USB-A Power Port

  1. Plug USB-A device into USB-A port. LCD displays Battery Status Icon, Voltage, and USB Icon.
  2. Unplug device. Unit turns off automatically.

Using the USB-C Power Port

  1. Connect USB-C device to USB-C Port. LCD displays Battery Status Icon, Voltage, and USB Icon.
  2. Unplug device. Unit turns off automatically.

USB-A and USB-C ports can be used simultaneously. Periodically check battery status. If battery overheats or is too cold, USB will shut down. Ensure USB ports are off when recharging/storing.

120 Volt AC Power Outlet

Located on front. Supports maximum 200W. Output waveform is modified sine wave, suitable for most AC loads including linear/switching power supplies, transformers, small motors. Will not run larger resistive loads (stoves, heaters).

Procedure

  1. Press AC Power Button to turn on. Unit beeps, LCD displays "AC".
  2. Lift hinged AC cover. Insert 120V AC plug from appliance.
  3. Switch on appliance.
  4. Press AC Power Button again to turn off.

Ensure wattage does not exceed 200W continuous. Periodically check battery status. If battery overheats or is too cold, inverter automatically shuts down.

Protective Features

The inverter monitors and automatically shuts down for:

If a fault occurs (low battery, thermal, overload, short circuit), the AC Power Outlet shuts down. LCD will display Battery Status Icon, AC, and Fault icon (may flash). Disconnect appliance, turn off AC Power Button, check charge, allow cooling, ensure appliance rating is 200W or lower, and ensure adequate ventilation.

LED Light

Built-in LED Area Light controlled by its on/off button. Press once to turn on, again to turn off. When on, unit beeps, LCD turns on for 10 seconds, then continuously displays Battery Status Icon and Voltage Indicator. If battery overheats or is too cold, area light automatically shuts down.
