DJI Matrice 4D Series Quick Start Guide
Introduction
This guide provides essential information for setting up and operating the DJI Matrice 4D Series aircraft. It uses the Matrice 4TD aircraft as an example; please refer to the actual product purchased. The aircraft includes a micro SD card. In some regions, an FTS module is included, which is required for the aircraft to meet C6 requirements.

Getting Started
1. Charging
Charge the remote controller to activate its internal battery before first use.
2. Preparing the Aircraft
Mount the gimbal protector before transportation to prevent damage.
3. Powering On
To power on the aircraft, briefly press the power button once, then press and hold it for two seconds.
4. Activation
All new devices require activation. Ensure the remote controller is connected to the internet and follow the instructions within the DJI Pilot 2 app for activation.
5. Preparing the Remote Controller
To avoid signal interference, do not operate other wireless devices on the same frequency as the remote controller.
6. Flight Operations
- Start/Stop Motors: Perform the Combination Stick Command (CSC) and hold for two seconds.
- Takeoff: Initiate takeoff.
- Land: Initiate landing.
- Manual Flight: Control the aircraft manually.
Important Safety Notes:
- Always set an appropriate Return to Home (RTH) mode and RTH altitude before takeoff.
- Press the Flight Pause button for emergency braking during flight.
