Kogan SmarterHome™ Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Overview

The Kogan SmarterHome™ Temperature and Humidity Sensor displays real-time environmental data. The device features a digital display showing:

• Current Time (e.g., 13:34)
• Date (e.g., 04/23)
• Temperature (e.g., 27.5°C)
• Humidity (e.g., 68%)
• Wi-Fi connectivity status [Wi-Fi icon]
• Battery level [Battery icon]
• Comfort level indicators: DRY, COMFORT, WET.

Installing the Batteries

1. Remove the battery compartment cover and insert 3 x AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity (+, -).
2. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Note: Heavy Duty or rechargeable batteries are not recommended.

Connect to the SmarterHome™ App

Install the App

Download the Kogan SmarterHome™ app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android).

Log In or Sign Up

1. If you have an existing SmarterHome account, tap 'Log In'. To create a new account, tap 'Sign Up'.
2. The app will detect your country. If necessary, select your country from the dropdown menu. Enter your email address, agree to the Privacy Policy and User Agreement, and tap 'Get Verification Code'.
3. A 6-digit code will be sent to your email. Enter the code before the one-minute timer expires.
4. Enter a password (6-20 characters, mix of letters and numbers) and tap 'Done'.
5. Enable necessary permissions and tap 'Go to App'.

EZ Mode

Set the Device in Pairing Mode

When first powered on, the device may automatically enter pairing mode (Wi-Fi indicator flashing). If not, press and hold the 'Light' button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator flashes.

Add the Device to the App

1. Open the SmarterHome™ app.
2. Tap the '+' icon [Add icon] in the top right corner and then tap 'Add Device'.
3. Tap 'Add' when the device appears, or select 'Sensors > Temperature Humidity Sensor Zigbee' from the app's product list.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to add your device.

Notes:

• The device and app must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
• The device is compatible only with 2.4GHz networks.
