LiPo Battery Safety Precautions
- Follow manufacturer's instructions for LiPo battery use.
- Ensure your ESC is set to LIPO mode when using LiPo batteries; failure to do so can increase battery discharge, potentially causing fire or damage.
- Always use a LiPo Safety Bag (flame retardant) when charging or storing LiPo batteries.
- Respect the maximum charge rate and voltage specified by the battery manufacturer.
- Charge LiPo batteries outdoors or in a well-ventilated area away from flammable objects.
- NEVER leave a LiPo battery unattended while charging.
- If a battery swells during charging, stop charging immediately, disconnect it from the charger, and leave it outside for observation. Recycle according to local regulations; never dispose of LiPo batteries with domestic waste.
- Before recycling a defective battery, neutralize it by submerging it in a saturated salt-water solution for 24 hours until its voltage reads 0.0V.
- Never charge a damaged or swollen battery.
- Never discharge battery cells below 3.2V.
- Always use the appropriate balancer/charger for your LiPo battery pack.
- Check battery temperature before charging. If hot, wait for it to cool down. Never charge a hot battery as it may cause explosion or fire.
- Recharge empty batteries immediately. Do not store empty batteries, as they will continue to discharge and become unusable.

Install Electronics
1. Servo Installation
Install the recommended Digital Servo CS-5226 (High Voltage, #C-52001) according to the diagram, ensuring correct alignment and connection.
2. ESC Installation
Install the recommended Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) TOROX 185 BLS (#C-54011) as shown in the diagram, ensuring proper mounting and connection points.
3. Motor Installation
Connect the brushless motor to the controller as described in the controller manual. For optimal gear mesh, refer to the "Gear Mesh Adjustment" section. Apply Corally Screw Fix - Blue (#C-13094) to screws.
Gear Mesh Adjustment
Proper gear mesh is crucial to prevent premature wear of the spur gear, noise, and unnecessary load on the motor. To adjust:
- Loosen the motor mounting screws.
- Insert a paper strip (approx. 1x8cm) between the pinion and spur gear.
- Push the motor towards the spur gear so the pinion engages the paper strip.
- Turn the spur gear to feed the paper through the teeth. The paper should be snug but not torn. Ensure the pinion is against the spur gear.
- Maintain this position and tighten the motor mounting screws.
4. Receiver Installation
Connect the servo cable to channel 1 of the receiver and the ESC cable to channel 2 of the receiver.
5. Installing the Battery
Recommended: 4S - 6S LiPo battery. Install the battery into the designated compartment, connect it to the controller, and secure it with the battery straps.
Car Settings
Front Toe
Adjust the front toe angle (TOE-OUT) by screwing the turnbuckle. This affects steering response.
Front Camber
Adjust the front camber angle by screwing the pivot ball. Camber affects tire contact patch during cornering.
Front Caster
Adjust the front caster angle by screwing the turnbuckle. The caster angle affects steering stability. Alternatively, move the Upper Suspension Arm forward or backward using 1mm caster clips.
Rear Camber
Adjust the rear camber angle by screwing the turnbuckle. This affects rear tire grip.
Suspension Travel
To adjust suspension travel and prevent shock absorber damage:
- Place the chassis on a block to fully extend the suspension.
- Measure the distance between the shock absorber's fixing points.
- Adjust the FR & RE suspension travel by screwing the set screw on the FR & RE lower suspension arm as needed.
Ride Height
To set the correct ground clearance:
- Lift the car by approximately 30cm and drop it onto a flat surface.
- The front and rear suspension arms should be roughly parallel to the ground (neutral setup).
- Adjust the tension of the shock absorber springs according to the terrain type (e.g., softer for bumpy ground, stiffer for flat ground/road).
