Using Your Remote Control

The HD On-Screen Guide provides a comprehensive view of available programming. Key features include:
- TV Window: Watch your program while using the guide.
- Timeline: Navigate forward (➡️) or backward (⬅️) to see future or past programming.
- Highlight Bar: Use arrow buttons to select a program and view its description. Press SELECT to tune in.
- Search & Guide Options: Access via DASH or YELLOW button to sort by category, change date/time, manage Favorites, and view Pay Per View titles.
- AutoTune: Automatically tune to the correct channel at the scheduled time for selected programs (available on H25 HD Receivers).
- QuickTune: Access up to nine favorite channels instantly by pressing the UP ARROW ⬆️. Add favorites by pressing the UP ARROW ⬆️ while watching and selecting the GREEN button.
- One-Line On-Screen Guide: View upcoming program information without interrupting the current viewing. Access by pressing ENTER or the BLUE button ?.
- Parental Controls: Manage content access via MENU > SETTINGS > PARENTAL CONTROLS.

Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions for DIRECTV for Business systems:
- Receiver Reset: For most problems, press the red RESET button on the front or side of the receiver.
- Frozen/Pixelated Screen: Check cable connections. If using a SWiM Power Inserter, unplug and replug it.
- No Signal/Snowy Screen: Verify the TV input and ensure cables are securely connected. Cycle through TV inputs using the TV INPUT button or ENTER (hold for 3 seconds on RC71).
- "Searching for Satellite" Screen: Check for obstructions to the satellite dish (snow, branches). Reset the receiver. If the issue persists in clear weather, check signal strength via MENU > SETTINGS & HELP > SETTINGS > SATELLITE > VIEW SIGNAL STRENGTH. A signal strength below 70% may require service.
