Installation Instructions
Important: Always ensure the power supply is switched off before commencing installation.
Step 1: Preparation and Safety
Electrical Safety: Before starting, turn off the main power supply to the installation area. A warning symbol ⚡ indicates electrical hazards.
Suitability Check: Verify that the wall or ceiling is suitable for mounting the fixture. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice. *** Professional advice recommended if unsure.
Step 2: Mounting the Base
- Mark the desired mounting points on the wall or ceiling.
- Drill holes at the marked points and insert appropriate wall plugs (provided, 2x).
- Secure the fixture's base to the wall/ceiling using the provided screws (2x).
Step 3: Wiring
- Open the fixture to access the internal wiring compartment.
- Connect the power supply wires to the terminal block:
- Connect the Live wire (L) to the 'L' terminal.
- Connect the Neutral wire (N) to the 'N' terminal.
- Connect the Earth wire (⏚) to the Earth terminal.
- Ensure wire connections are secure and use wires with a cross-section of 0.5-1.5 mm². The wire entry point should be approximately 5-7 mm from the terminal block.
Step 4: Installing the Lamp and Closing the Fixture
- Insert an E27 base lamp (not included) into the socket.
- Close the fixture by securing the cover. Ensure it is properly sealed for its intended environment.
Step 5: Final Check
- Once installation is complete and secure, switch the power supply back on.
- Test the fixture to ensure it operates correctly. The ON/OFF states are indicated visually.
