The hoverboard features:

Diagram Description: A visual representation of the hoverboard with numbered parts corresponding to the list above.

Operating Principals

The Dream uses digital gyroscopes and acceleration sensors for balance and motion control, based on the user's center of gravity. Motors are located within the wheels. A built-in inertia dynamic stabilization system aids balance when moving forward and backward, but not during turns.

TIP: To increase stability during turns, shift weight to counteract centrifugal force, especially at higher speeds.

Controls and Display

Turning Your Device On/Off

Power On: Place the Dream flat on the floor and press the power button (located on the rear) once. The battery indicator LED should light up.

Power Off: Press the power button once.

Mat Sensors

Four sensors are located under the foot mats. Ensure you are stepping on the foot mats when riding. Do not step on other areas. The hoverboard may vibrate or spin if weight is applied to only one mat.

Battery Indicator

The display board is in the middle of the Dream.

Recharge the Dream when the LED light turns red.

Running Indicator

When foot mats are triggered, the running indicator LED lights up, signifying the running state. If an error occurs, the running LED turns red.

Before Riding

It is crucial to understand all functions. Incorrect use can lead to loss of control.

Practice at slower speeds in a flat, open area before riding in public.

Pre-Ride Checklist

Ensure the Dream is in proper working order before each ride. Contact Customer Support if any part malfunctions.

WARNING: A malfunctioning Dream can cause loss of control and falls. Do not ride a damaged Dream; replace damaged parts before riding.

Safety Precautions

Be aware of local laws regarding electric transportation devices. Hover-1 is not liable for tickets or violations.

WARNING: In low-visibility conditions (fog, dusk, night), wear bright, reflective clothing as you may be difficult to see, increasing collision risk.

Riding Guidelines

WARNING: Riding a hoverboard with a kart attachment uphill (above 5-10° incline) is not advisable. A safety mechanism will shut down the hoverboard. Dismount, place on a flat surface, wait 2 minutes, and power on again.

WARNING: Adult supervision is required. Never use near roadways, motor vehicles, steep inclines, steps, swimming pools, or bodies of water. Always wear shoes and allow only one rider.

Riding Your Dream

WARNING: Failure to follow safety precautions can lead to Dream damage, property damage, voided warranty, serious injury, or death.

Familiarize yourself with operating procedures before use.

Operating Your Dream

Ensure the Dream is fully charged before initial use. Refer to "CHARGING YOUR DREAM" on page 19 for instructions.

To mount: Stand behind the Dream. Place one foot on a foot mat, keeping weight on the ground. Shift weight to the mounted foot, then quickly and evenly step on with the second foot.

Diagram Description: Shows two stages of mounting the hoverboard: one foot on, then both feet on.

NOTES: Stay relaxed, step on confidently and evenly. Imagine climbing stairs. Look up once both feet are on. Vibration or spinning with one foot on is normal.

Find your center of gravity. Correct weight distribution allows you to stand as if on the ground. It takes about 3-5 minutes to get comfortable standing.

The Dream is sensitive; anxiety about stepping on can cause panic and unwanted movement. Focus on your desired direction to move. Thinking about the direction shifts your center of gravity, propelling you forward.

Your center of gravity determines movement and speed. Stand straight to stop. Tilt your center of gravity in the direction you wish to move.

To turn: Focus on the direction, stay relaxed. Apply pressure on the right foot to turn right, and on the left foot to turn left.

WARNING: Avoid sharp turns or high speeds, and riding quickly along slopes, as this may cause injury.

As you get comfortable, maneuvering becomes easier. At higher speeds, shift weight during turns for stability.

Bend knees on bumpy/uneven surfaces, then dismount and carry to a safe area.

Diagram Description: Illustrates body posture for moving backward, stopping, and moving forward based on weight distribution.

Dismounting & Limitations

NOTES: Stay relaxed and focus on your center of gravity for control.

Dismounting incorrectly can cause falls. To dismount from a stopped position: lift your dominant leg, place it on the ground behind you (STEP BACK), then step off with the other foot.

Diagram Description: Shows the process of stepping off the hoverboard, stepping back with one foot first.

WARNING: Lift feet completely off the foot mat to clear the hoverboard when stepping back. Failure to do so may cause a tailspin.

Speed and Weight Limitations

WARNING: Exceeding the weight limit may increase the risk of injury or product damage.

NOTES: At max speed, the Dream beeps and tilts back to prevent injury.

Operating Range

The Dream can travel up to 6 miles on a full charge under ideal conditions. Factors affecting range include:

Balance & Calibration

If the Dream is unbalanced, vibrating, or not turning properly, calibrate it:

  1. Place the Dream on flat ground. Ensure foot mats are even and not tilted. Charger must be unplugged, and hoverboard turned off.
  2. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds until the hoverboard turns on and the battery indicator lights up.
  3. Release the power button after the light flashes 5 times consecutively. Turn the hoverboard off and then back on. Calibration is complete.

Safety Alerts

System errors or improper operation trigger alerts (red running indicator light, beep sound). Cease operation. The hoverboard may stop suddenly.

Common alert triggers:

WARNING: When the Dream turns off during a safety alert, all systems halt. Do not attempt to ride. Turn off and back on to unlock from safety lock.

Charging Your Dream

Ensure the charging port is clean and dry.

Battery Care / Maintenance

Battery Specifications:

Battery Maintenance:

WARNING: Failure to follow safety precautions can lead to serious injury or death.

WARNING: SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IF EXPOSED TO ANY SUBSTANCE EMITTED FROM THE BATTERY.

Care & Maintenance

WARNING: Avoid using water or other liquids for cleaning. If liquids enter the Dream, it will cause permanent damage to internal components.

WARNING: Disassembling the Dream without Hover-1's permission voids the warranty.
