The delivery includes: ¹ Depending on the appliance's equipment ⚠️ WARNING! Risk of explosion!! If the unit is placed in too small a space, a leak in the cooling system can create a flammable gas-air mixture. Install the unit in spaces with a volume of at least 1 m³ per 8 g of cooling agent. The amount of cooling agent is indicated on the rating plate. (See "Unit", Fig. 1/3, page 11). The unit's weight can be up to 65 kg depending on the model. The base must be sufficiently stable to support the unit's weight. The permissible room temperature depends on the unit's climate class. The climate class is indicated on the rating plate. (See "Unit", Fig. 1/3, page 11). The unit functions fully within the permissible room temperature range. If a unit with climate class SN is used at lower room temperatures, no damage to the unit will occur down to room temperatures of 5°C. Observe the niche dimensions for built-in installation. Deviations can cause problems during unit installation. The recommended niche depth for built-in installation is 560 mm. A smaller niche depth will slightly increase energy consumption. The niche depth must be at least 550 mm. The unit requires a cabinet niche width of at least 560 mm. You must maintain a distance of at least 150 mm when installing two units next to each other. Here is an overview of the appliance's components. Diagram of the appliance interior. Label A points to the refrigerator compartment (Kylfack). Label B points to the freezer compartment (Frysfack). Number 1 points to the controls. Number 2 points to the fruit and vegetable drawer. Number 3 points to the rating plate. Number 4 points to the freezer drawer. Number 5 points to door shelves. Note: There may be variations between the unit and the illustrations regarding interior fittings and dimensions. The control elements allow you to set all functions of the appliance and receive information about its operating status. Control panel illustration: A temperature dial labeled '°C' with settings 2, 3, 4, 6, 8. A 'Super' indicator light. A display showing temperature in °C. A power button labeled '①'. The interior fittings vary depending on the model. Remove and reinsert shelves in a different position if necessary. (See "Removing a shelf", page 18). Store fresh fruit and vegetables in the fruit and vegetable drawer. Depending on the amount stored and the type of food, condensation may form in the fruit and vegetable drawer. Wipe up condensation with a dry cloth. Store temperature-sensitive fruits and vegetables such as pineapples, bananas, citrus fruits, cucumbers, zucchini, bell peppers, tomatoes, and potatoes outside the unit at temperatures of approximately 8°C to 12°C to preserve quality and taste. Remove and reinsert door shelves in different positions if necessary. (See "Removing a door shelf", page 18). Use original accessories. They are adapted to the unit. The accessories for your appliance are model-dependent. Place eggs securely on the egg tray. You can use the cooling pack to temporarily chill food items, e.g., in a cool bag. Tip! In case of a power failure or if a fault occurs, the cooling pack will delay the warming of frozen items in the freezer compartment. Use the ice cube tray to make ice cubes. The Super function cools the refrigerator and freezer compartments more intensely. Activate the Super function 4 to 6 hours before placing in food quantities of 2 kg or more. Use the Super function to utilize the freezing capacity. (See "Freezing capacity", page 15). Note: When the Super function is active, the unit may make more noise. Note: The unit will revert to normal mode after approximately 60 hours. In the refrigerator compartment, you can store meat, sausage, fish, dairy products, eggs, cooked food, and baked goods. The temperature can be set from 2°C to 8°C. The recommended refrigerator compartment temperature is 4°C. (See "OK decal", page 14). Thanks to the refrigeration, you can store even very delicate foods for short to medium periods. The lower the temperature you choose, the fresher the food will remain. Air circulation in the refrigerator compartment creates different cooling zones. The coldest zone is between the embossed arrow on the side and the shelf below. Tip! Store sensitive foods such as fish, sausage, and meat in the coldest zone. The warmest zone is at the top of the door. Tip! Store durable foods such as hard cheese and butter in the warmest zone. This allows cheese to develop its flavor further, and butter becomes spreadable. The OK decal allows you to check if the refrigerator compartment has reached a safe temperature interval of +4°C or lower, as recommended for food. The OK decal is not present on all models. If the decal does not show OK, gradually lower the temperature. (See "Setting the refrigerator compartment temperature", page 13). It can take up to 12 hours for the set temperature to be reached when you switch on the unit. OK - Correct Setting In the freezer compartment, you can store frozen food, freeze food, and make ice cubes. The temperature in the freezer compartment depends on the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. Long-term storage of food should be at -18°C or lower. Freezer storage allows you to store even sensitive foods long-term. The low temperature slows down or stops decomposition. The freezing capacity indicates how much food can be frozen in a given number of hours. Information on freezing capacity is found on the rating plate. (See "Unit", Fig. 1/3, page 11). Learn how to fit the maximum amount of frozen goods into your freezer compartment. The correct packaging material and type will maintain product quality and prevent freezer burn. The printed freezer calendar indicates the longest storage duration in months at a continuous temperature of -18°C. ❗ CAUTION! Risk of health damage!! Thawing can lead to bacterial growth that spoils frozen foods. Never refreeze completely or partially thawed frozen foods. Refreeze only after cooking or frying. Do not utilize the maximum storage duration. Condensation droplets or frost may form on the back wall of the refrigerator compartment during use. The refrigerator compartment's back wall is self-defrosting. The meltwater runs via the meltwater channel into the evaporation dish, so you do not need to wipe it up. Follow the information below so that the meltwater can drain and to avoid unpleasant odors: (See "Cleaning the meltwater channel and drain hole", page 18). The freezer compartment has no automatic defrosting. Frost layers in the freezer compartment affect freezing capacity and lead to higher energy consumption. Defrost the freezer compartment regularly. ⚠️ WARNING! Risk of electric shock!! ℹ️ OBS! Regularly clean the meltwater channel and drain hole so that meltwater can drain. Carefully clean the meltwater channel and drain hole, e.g., with a cotton swab. Remove the interior fittings from the unit so you can clean them thoroughly. Pull out and remove the shelf. You can fix minor faults on the unit yourself. Use the information on fault rectification before contacting service. This will save you unnecessary costs. ⚠️ WARNING! Risk of electric shock!! During a power failure, the temperature in the unit rises. This shortens the storage time and reduces the quality of frozen goods. Stored frozen goods will remain safely chilled for the temperature increase time indicated on the rating plate. (See "Unit", Fig. 1/3, page 11). Here you will learn how to prepare the machine for storage. You will also learn how to dispose of used machines. Environmentally compatible waste disposal allows valuable raw materials to be reused. ⚠️ WARNING! Risk of health damage!! ⚠️ WARNING! Risk of fire!! If the pipes are damaged, flammable cooling agent and hazardous gases can escape and ignite. Do not damage the pipes in the cooling circuit or the insulation. Dispose of the unit in an environmentally friendly manner. Information on current waste disposal can be obtained from your retailer and local municipality. This unit is marked in accordance with the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This directive provides the framework for the return and correct recycling of end-of-life units within the EU.
