KickStart software is available for use with the Keithley Instruments Arbitrary Function Generators (AFG), Data Acquisition (DAQ) instruments, Digital Multimeters (DMM), SourceMeter Source Measure Units (SMU), Sensitive Instruments, Power Supplies, and Tektronix Oscilloscopes. AFG APP FIXED ISSUES Issue number: Description: KS-7675 Changing the amplitude or offset in the source settings does not create a new run. This issue has been resolved. DMM APP FIXED ISSUES Issue number: Description: KS-7638 KickStart displays an instrument-connect error when attempting to open an app, while using a KUSB-488B and Model 6517B. This issue has been resolved. KS-6229 Tests do not run when you have a mix of real and simulated instruments. For example, if you have a saved project that has two instruments. This issue has been resolved. KS-7608 The I-V Characterizer application, version 2.0, data export functionality is not implemented the same as previous versions. When data is exported, the default parameters for export are, Auto Export enabled and the export filename is the name of the app with the time and date appended to it. The original data export configuration for I-V Characterizer allowed you to have multiple data export files created every time a test was run. You removed the time and date attributes from the file name field, and the Auto Export would overwrite the same file with the new data. I-V Characterizer now just appends new data to the same file, preventing you from automating your post processing. This issue has been resolved. KS-7689 When creating a .ksp file using a Model 2612B, KickStart displayed an error when attempting to run the test after loading the file. This issue has been resolved. IMPROVEMENT Issue number: Description: KS-7194 When loading a list sweep with a large number of points, performance is very slow. The NI VISA 17.5 Runtime Engine is packaged with the KickStart installer. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS To install KickStart software: 1. Download the KickStart 2.11.2 installer from tek.com/keithley-kickstart. 2. Unzip the file and run KickStartSetup.exe. 3. Follow the installation instructions and accept all default settings. The required files are installed in the following default location: C:\Program Files\Keithley Instruments\KickStart. KickStart version 2.11.2 requires a software license.
