These Hiseeu models are powered by Hikvision technology and are compatible with third-party devices via the ONVIF protocol, provided the third-party device is ONVIF compatible. It is recommended to reset the camera before installation. This process restores all parameters to default settings. Steps: Diagrams show two camera types, a bullet camera and a turret camera. Each diagram points to a small recessed button labeled 'Reset Button' and a slot labeled 'SD Card Slot' on the camera's rear or side panel. Press and hold the reset button until the infrared light turns on. ❗Note: When working with a Hiseeu 4K PoE NVR system, the NVR will activate the camera and auto-connect it, making it plug-and-play without further configuration. The camera requires activation by setting a strong password before use. This section details camera activation using different client tools. SADP (Search Active Device Protocol) is a tool used to detect, activate, and modify the IP address of the camera over the LAN. Before You Start: Activation Steps: ❗Cautions: A STRONG PASSWORD IS RECOMMENDED. Create a password of at least 8 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, to enhance security. It is also recommended to reset your password regularly (monthly or weekly) for better protection. The SADP software interface displays a list of online devices. An activation dialog box prompts for a new password and confirmation. A 'Cautions' section emphasizes creating a strong password and regular resets. Click 'Activate' to start the activation process. A 'Tips' dialog within the activation process explains the need for a 'Verification Code' for Hik-Connect service, specifying requirements for the code (6-12 alphanumeric characters, case-sensitive, recommended minimum 8 characters). It also mentions reading 'Terms of Service' and 'Privacy Policy'. After successful activation, the device status becomes 'Active'. The web interface configuration shows 'Platform Access' settings. The 'Platform Access Mode' can be set to 'Guarding Vision'. The 'Register Status' is shown as 'Online' after successful activation. The 'Verification Code' field is also visible. Modify IP Address: The SADP interface shows a 'Modify Network Parameters' dialog where IP address, subnet mask, and gateway can be adjusted. This section explains how to access the camera via a web browser. Before You Start: Check the system requirements to ensure your operating computer and web browser meet the necessary specifications. Steps: ❗NOTE: Illegal login lock is activated by default. If the admin user makes seven failed password attempts (or five for user/operator), the IP address will be blocked for 30 minutes. To disable this feature, navigate to Configuration → System → Security → Security Service. The live view displays the camera feed. Options for 'Main Stream (High Definition)' and 'Sub Stream (Standard Definition)' are available. All camera settings can be adjusted by accessing the camera via a web browser using its IP address. The web interface configuration page shows 'Basic Information' including Device Name, Device No., Model, Serial No., Firmware Version, Encoding Version, Web Version, Plugin Version, Number of Channels, Number of HDDs, Number of Alarm Input, and Number of Alarm Output. If you wish to add the camera to a third-party NVR, you must enable ONVIF. Check the 'Enable Open Network Video Interface (ONVIF)' option and create an ONVIF username and password. The web interface shows an 'Enable Open Network Video Interface (ONVIF)' checkbox. Fields for creating an ONVIF username and password are provided. Navigate to Configuration → System → Maintenance → Restore/Default. The web interface shows a 'Restore/Default' section with options to 'Reboot', 'Restore' (parameters except IP/user info), and 'Default' (all parameters). It also includes 'Information Export' and 'Import Config File' options. Guarding Vision is a mobile application that allows you to view live images, receive alarm notifications, and more. Guarding Vision service must be enabled on your camera before use. This can be done through the SADP software or a web browser. This process enables Guarding Vision service using the SADP software for an activated camera. Steps: ❗NOTE: The verification code is required when adding the camera to Guarding Vision service. The SADP software displays a 'Create Verification Code' dialog, prompting for a verification code and its confirmation. A 'Check Enable Hik-Connect' option is visible. Follow these steps to enable Guarding Vision Service using a web browser. Before You Start: The camera must be activated before enabling the service. Steps: ❗NOTE: The verification code is required when adding the camera to Guarding Vision service. The web interface shows 'Platform Access' settings with 'Guarding Vision' selected as the 'Platform Access Mode' and 'Enable' checked. The 'Register Status' is shown as 'Online'. Before You Start: Steps: The Guarding Vision app interface shows options like 'Scan QR Code', 'Online Device', 'Add to Favorites'. The 'Online Device' list displays detected cameras with their IP addresses. The 'Details' section shows device information like MAC Address, Software Version, Serial No., and IP Address. The app prompts to 'Add Device to Guarding Vision Server'. A dialog box appears asking to 'Please input the device verification code', with fields for 'Cancel', 'OK', and 'Add'. You can also add the camera by scanning the QR code on the camera body. If the QR code is missing or unreadable, you can add the camera by inputting its serial number. Before You Start: Steps: The Guarding Vision PC client setup screen prompts to create a 'Super User Name' and 'Password'. The login screen for the Guarding Vision PC client requires 'User Name/Phone Number' and 'Password'. The user name can be the email or phone number registered on the mobile app. The password is the same as used for the mobile app. Navigate to 'Main View'; the devices added on the app will sync automatically. The Guarding Vision PC client interface shows various application modules like 'Video Application', 'Access Control', 'General Application', and 'Maintenance and Management'. The 'Stream Key' is the 'Verification Code'. Input the code created when you enabled 'Hik-Connect'. The PC client interface shows a 'PTZ Control' section and a 'Resource' management area. A field labeled 'Stream Key' requires the verification code. Steps: The NVR interface shows a list of IP channels, displaying IP addresses, camera names, status (e.g., HIKVISION), and protocol. After configuration, the camera's User Name is 'admin', and the Password is the same as the NVR's.
