Arlo Essential Video Doorbell Wire-Free Quick Start

Getting Started

1. Charge the battery to 100%. The battery LED indicator will show red while charging and turn green when fully charged.
2. Download the Arlo app from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Follow the step-by-step instructions within the Arlo app to complete the installation.

• Doorbell and mounting plate (pre-attached)
• Angled mounting plate
• Release pin (keep in a safe place)
• Rechargeable battery
• Battery charging cable (compatible with most power adapters)
• Wall screws and anchors
• Optional wire extensions, wire fasteners, and extra screws

Tools Required

• Phillips screwdriver (not included)
• Optional: Drill, level, ladder (if reaching the chime requires it)

Wiring Considerations

If you choose to wire your wire-free Essential Video Doorbell, ensure the voltage is between 8-24VAC and a 10VA transformer is required. If your existing voltage does not meet these requirements, or if you need to install or upgrade a transformer, please consult a licensed electrician or visit arlo.com for installation service information.
