Thank you for selecting a TOSOT product. Please read this instruction manual carefully before installing and using the product, so as to master and correctly use the product. In order to guide you to correctly install and use our product and achieve expected operating effect, we hereby instruct as below:
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This instruction manual is a universal manual; some functions are only applicable to particular products. All the illustrations and information in the instruction manual are only for reference, and the control interface should be subject to actual operation.
- In order to make the product better, TOSOT continuously conducts improvement and innovation. If there is an adjustment in the product, please refer to the actual product.
- If the product needs to be installed, moved, or maintained, please contact a TOSOT designated dealer or local service center for professional support. Users should not disassemble or maintain the unit by themselves, otherwise, it may cause relative damage, and TOSOT will bear no responsibilities.

2 Preparation Before Operation
When using the remote controller for the first time or after replacing the batteries, please set the time of the system according to the current time in the following steps:
- Press the "CLOCK" button; "☐" is blinking.
- Press the "▲" or "▼" button; the clock time will increase or decrease rapidly.
- Press the "CLOCK" button again to confirm the time and return to display the current time.
3 Introduction of Operation Function
3.1 Selecting Operation Mode
Under ON status, press the "MODE" button to select the operation mode in the following sequence:
[Auto] → [Cool] → [Dry] → [Fan] → [Heat]
NOTE: The supported modes of different series of models may vary, and the unit does not execute unsupported modes.
3.2 Setting Temperature
Under ON status, press the "▲" button to increase the setting temperature and press the "▼" button to decrease the setting temperature. The range of temperature is 16°C ~ 30°C (61°F ~ 86°F).
3.3 Adjusting Fan Speed
Under ON status, press the "FAN" button to adjust the fan speed in the following sequence:
[Auto] → [Low] → [Medium] → [High] → [Turbo]
NOTES:
- When the operation mode changes, the fan speed is memorized.
- Under Dry mode, the fan speed is low and cannot be adjusted.
3.4 Setting Swing Function
Setting Left & Right Swing
- Under simple swing status, press the [Left/Right Swing] button to adjust the left & right swing status.
- Under fixed-angle swing status, press the [Left/Right Swing] button to adjust the left & right swing angle circularly as below:
[Auto] → [Swing 1] → [Swing 2] → [Swing 3] → [Swing 4] → [Swing 5] → [Swing 6] → [Swing 7] → [Swing 8] → [Closed]
NOTE: Operate continuously left & right swing within 2 seconds; swing states will change according to the above-mentioned order, or switch between the closed state and the swing state.
Setting Up & Down Swing
- Under simple swing status, press the [Up/Down Swing] button to adjust the up & down swing status.
- Under fixed-angle swing status, press the [Up/Down Swing] button to adjust the up & down swing angle circularly as below:
[Closed] → [Up 1] → [Up 2] → [Up 3] → [Up 4] → [Up 5] → [Down 1] → [Down 2] → [Down 3] → [Down 4] → [Down 5]
NOTE: Operate continuously up & down swing within 2 seconds; swing states will change according to the above-mentioned order, or switch between the closed state and the swing state.
3.5 Setting Turbo Function
- Under Cool or Heat mode, press the "TURBO" button to set the turbo function.
- When "▲" is displayed, turbo function is ON.
- When "▲" is not displayed, turbo function is OFF.
- When turbo function is ON, the unit operates in super high speed to achieve quick cooling or heating. When turbo function is OFF, the unit operates at the set fan speed.
3.6 Setting Light Function
The light on the receiver light board will display the present operation status. If you want to turn off the light, please press the "LIGHT" button. Press this button again to turn on the light.
3.7 Viewing Ambient Temperature
- Under ON status, the receiver light board or wired controller defaults to display the setting temperature. Press the "TEMP" button to view the indoor ambient temperature.
- When "Ω" is not displayed, it means the displayed temperature is the setting temperature.
- When "Ω" is displayed, it means the displayed temperature is the indoor ambient temperature.
NOTE: Setting temperature is always displayed on the remote controller.
3.8 Setting X-FAN Function
- In Cool or Dry mode, hold the "FAN" button for 2 seconds to set the X-FAN function.
- When "♂" is displayed, X-FAN function is ON.
- When "♂" is not displayed, X-FAN function is OFF.
- When X-FAN function is ON, the water on the evaporator will be blown away until the unit is turned off to avoid mildew.
3.9 Setting Health Function
- Under ON status, press the "▲" button to set the health function.
- When "▲" is displayed, health function is ON.
- When "▲" is not displayed, health function is OFF.
- Health function is available when the unit is equipped with an anion generator. When health function is ON, the anion generator will start operation, adsorbing dusts and killing bacteria in the room.
3.10 Setting Air Function
- Press the "▲ (0)" button until "▲" is displayed, and then the air function is turned ON.
- Press the "▲ (0)" button until "▲" disappears, and then the air function is turned OFF.
- When the indoor unit is connected with a fresh air valve, the air function setting can control the connection of the fresh air valve, which can control the fresh air volume and improve the air quality inside the room.
3.11 Setting Sleep Function
- Under ON status, press the "SLEEP" button to select Sleep 1 (▲1), Sleep 2 (▲2), Sleep 3 (▲3) and cancel the sleep. It cycles through these options. After electrification, Sleep cancel is defaulted.
- Sleep 1, Sleep 2, and Sleep 3 are all sleep modes where the air conditioner will run according to a preset sleep temperature curve.
NOTES:
- Sleep function cannot be set in Auto, Dry, or Fan mode.
- When turning off the unit or switching modes, the sleep function is cancelled.
3.12 Setting I FEEL Function
- Under ON status, press the "I FEEL" button to turn ON or OFF the I FEEL function.
- When "▲" is displayed, I FEEL function is ON.
- When "▲" is not displayed, I FEEL function is OFF.
- When I FEEL function is turned ON, the unit will adjust the temperature according to the temperature detected by the remote controller to achieve the best air-conditioning effect. In this case, you should place the remote controller within the valid receiving range.
3.13 Setting Timer
You can set the operation time of the unit as needed. You can also set timer ON and timer OFF in combination.
Before setting, check if the time of the system is the same as the current time. If not, please set the time according to the current time.
Setting Timer Off
- Pressing the "T-OFF" button; "OFF" is blinking and the time displaying zone displays the timer time of the last setting.
- Press the "▲" or "▼" button to adjust the timer time.
- Press the "T-OFF" button again to confirm the setting. "OFF" is displayed, and the time displaying zone resumes to display the current time.
- Press the "T-OFF" button again to cancel the timer, and "OFF" is not displayed.
Setting Timer On
- Pressing the "T-ON" button; "ON" is blinking and the time displaying zone displays the timer time of the last setting.
- Press the "▲" or "▼" button to adjust the timer time.
- Press the "T-ON" button again to confirm the setting. "ON" is displayed, and the time displaying zone resumes to display the current time.
- Press the "T-ON" button again to cancel the timer, and "ON" is not displayed.
3.14 Setting WiFi Function
Under OFF status, press the "MODE" and "WiFi" buttons simultaneously for 1 second; the WiFi module will restore factory settings.
NOTE: The function is only available for some models.
4 Introduction of Special Functions
4.1 Setting Child Lock
- Press the "▲" and "▼" buttons simultaneously to lock the buttons on the remote controller, and "▲" is displayed.
- Press the "▲" and "▼" buttons simultaneously again to unlock the buttons on the remote controller, and "▲" is not displayed.
- If the buttons are locked, "▲" blinks 3 times when a button is pressed, and any operation on the button is invalid.
4.2 Switching Temperature Scale
Under OFF status, press the "MODE" button and "▼" button simultaneously to switch the temperature scale between °C and °F.
4.3 Setting Energy-Saving Function
- Under ON status and in Cool mode, press the "CLOCK" and "TEMP" buttons simultaneously to enter energy-saving mode.
- When "▲" is displayed, the energy-saving function is ON.
- When "▲" is not displayed, the energy-saving function is OFF.
- If you want to turn off the energy-saving function, press the "CLOCK" and "TEMP" buttons, and "▲" will not be displayed.
NOTES:
- Energy-saving function is only available in cooling mode and it will be exited when switching modes or setting the sleep function.
- Under energy-saving function, the fan speed is defaulted to auto speed and cannot be adjusted.
- Under energy-saving function, the set temperature cannot be adjusted. Pressing the "TURBO" button, the remote controller will not send a signal.
4.4 Absence Function
- Under ON status and in Heat mode, press the "CLOCK" and "TEMP" buttons simultaneously to enter the absence function. The temperature displaying zone displays 8°C and "ℝ" is displayed.
- Press the "CLOCK" and "TEMP" buttons simultaneously again to exit the absence function. The temperature displaying zone resumes the previous display, and "ℝ" is not displayed.
- In winter, the absence function can keep the indoor ambient temperature above 0°C to avoid freezing.
NOTES:
- Absence function is only available in heating mode and it will be exited when switching modes or setting the sleep function.
- Under absence function, the fan speed is defaulted to auto speed and cannot be adjusted.
- Under absence function, the set temperature cannot be adjusted. Pressing the "TURBO" button, the remote controller will not send a signal.
- Under °F temperature display, the remote controller will display 46°F heating.
4.5 Auto Clean Function
Under OFF status, hold the "MODE" and "FAN" buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to turn ON or OFF the auto clean function. The remote controller temperature display area will flash "CL" for 5 seconds.
During the auto process of the evaporator, the unit will perform fast cooling or fast heating. There may be some noise, which is the sound of flowing liquid or thermal expansion or cold shrinkage. The air conditioner may blow cool or warm air, which is a normal phenomenon. During the cleaning process, please ensure the room is well ventilated to avoid affecting comfort. When auto clean is finished, the air conditioner will enter standby status.
NOTES:
- The auto clean function can only work under normal ambient temperature. If the room is dusty, clean it once a month; if not, clean it once every three months. After the auto clean function is turned ON, you can leave the room.
- This function is only available for some models.
5 Replacing Batteries in Remote Controller and Notes
- Lift the cover along the direction of the arrow (as shown in Figure 1).
- Take out the original batteries (as shown in Figure 1).
- Place two 7# (AAA 1.5V) dry batteries, and ensure the position of the "+" pole and "-" pole is correct (as shown in Figure 2).
- Reinstall the cover (as shown in Figure 2).
NOTES:
- The remote controller should be placed 1m away from the TV set or stereo sound sets.
- The operation of the remote controller should be performed within its receiving range.
- If you need to control the main unit, please point the remote controller at the signal receiving window of the main unit to improve the receiving sensibility of the main unit.
- When the remote controller is sending a signal, the "♂" icon will be blinking for 1 second. When the main unit receives a valid remote control signal, it will give out a sound.
- If the remote controller does not operate normally, please take the batteries out and reinsert them after 30 seconds. If it still cannot operate properly, replace the batteries.
- When replacing the batteries, do not use old or different types of batteries, otherwise, it may cause malfunction.
- When you will not use the remote controller for a long time, please take out the batteries.
