Tools Needed for Lock Installation: Phillips Screwdriver Package Includes: Tools Needed for Door Preparation (if there is no knob hole): Drill, 2 1/8" Hole Saw, 1" Hole Saw, 3/4" Chisel Preparation: Refer to the included template for door preparation instructions. Strike Plate Installation: Ensure the strike plate on the door frame is straight and not protruding. Adjust as needed for smooth bolt fitting. Note: Do not over-tighten latch screws. Backset Adjustment (2-3/8" to 2-3/4"): Ensure the latch plate on the door is straight and not protruding. Adjust before installing to prevent issues with the bolt fitting into the latch hole. Note: Check that the Rubber Gasket is secured on the Exterior Assembly. Insert the Exterior Assembly onto the door with the tailpiece going through the Deadbolt Latch Set in the VERTICAL POSITION. Route the Control Wire through the door UNDER the Deadbolt Latch Set. Testing: With the door shut, lock and unlock using the key. Ensure the latch operates smoothly and is aligned properly without scraping the strike plate. If not, revisit step 2. Deadbolt Latch Must Be Retracted During Installation. Preparation for Interior Assembly: Remove one screw (K) from the inside of the battery compartment within the housing (B) to release the Mounting Plate (C). Screw Mounting Post (L) into holes on Mounting Plate (C). Screw (K) can be used optionally to prevent the lock from shifting. Assembly: Carefully insert the control wire into the wire connector. Ensure the connector dots align with the dots on the wire. Note: Make sure the Knob is in the vertical position. Be careful not to pinch the control wire. Secure the mounting plate to the door. Carefully insert the control wire into the wire connector. Open the door before inserting high-quality AA alkaline batteries. The lock is set for a right-handed door and will automatically determine if your door is left-handed. The lock motor will engage and perform a series of locking and unlocking motions. The keypad will beep and lights will flash upon completion. Note: Do not touch the keypad until the light turns off. Do not use rechargeable or mixed old/new batteries. Low Battery Warning: Beeps and LED flashes red 7 times. Replace with good quality alkaline batteries. Test the lock button with the door open. Shut the door and test the latch alignment. Turn the thumb turn to lock and unlock, ensuring smooth operation and proper alignment with the strike plate. If issues arise, revisit step 2. Test unlocking by pressing '1-2-3-4-' (default admin code) and then the lock button. Congratulations! You have installed the Keyless Electronic Deadbolt with Keypad.1) Installation Overview

Programming Instructions
Important: Wake up the lock by touching any button before starting programming. Complete each programming step within 5-10 seconds. Do not pause between steps. Wake lock, input Admin Code (factory setting: 123456), press Lock/Clear button, input new 6-digit code, press Lock/Clear, repeat new 6-digit code, press Lock/Clear. Green light flashes confirming success. Wake lock, input Admin Code, press Lock/Clear, press '1', input User Number (02-50), press Lock/Clear, input new 4-8 digit User Code, press Lock/Clear, repeat new 4-8 digit User Code, press Lock/Clear. Green light flashes confirming success. Programming Record: Fill in your Administrator Code and User Codes (02-50) with their creation dates. Wake lock, input User Code, press Lock/Clear. Wake lock, input Admin Code, press Lock/Clear, press '2', input User Number to delete, press Lock/Clear, repeat User Number, press Lock/Clear. Green light flashes confirming success. Wake lock, input Admin Code, press Lock/Clear, press '3', press Lock/Clear, re-enter Admin Code, press Lock/Clear. Green light flashes confirming success. Set Auto Lock: Enter AC5, then the Time Value (20-900 seconds). Hear 1 beep and light illuminates green. Cancel Auto Lock: Enter AC5-00-. Hear 1 beep and light illuminates green. Temporarily Disable Auto-Lock: Unlock with AC, immediately turn the locking knob by hand to locked, wait 3 seconds, then turn back to unlock. Auto-Lock is now disabled. Restore Auto-Lock: Turn locking knob to locked position, wait 3 seconds, or press the Lock button on the keypad. Sound Off: Enter AC61. Light Indicator illuminates green. Sound On: Enter AC62. Hear 1 beep and light illuminates green. Note: Removing batteries does not erase active Administrator or User Codes.1) Create Administrator Code
