  2. Do not pull out the crown if the watch is wet.
  3. Do not press watch buttons underwater.
  4. If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly and dry it.
  5. The watch can be used for SCUBA diving (except for depths requiring a helium-oxygen mixture).

A feature of some water-resistant watches is the presence of leather straps. Do not wear these watches while swimming or engaging in any other activity where the strap may be submerged in water.

Backlight

  • The backlight of this watch uses electroluminescent (EL) elements, whose brightness decreases after prolonged use.
  • When the display is illuminated, the watch emits an audible signal. This is because the backlight elements vibrate, and it is not an indication of a watch malfunction.
  • The backlight is difficult to see if direct sunlight falls on the watch.
  • Frequent use of the backlight shortens battery life.

ALARM MODE

When the set time is reached, the alarm will sound for 20 seconds. If the hourly chime mode is enabled, a short beep will sound at the start of each hour.
