Product Overview

The Sigma Buster 2000 is a high-performance LED bike light designed for safety and visibility. This manual provides instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance.

Operating Instructions

1. Burntime Modes

• HIGH: 2.30 hours at 2000 lumens
• MID: 5 hours at 1100 lumens
• LOW: 10 hours at 600 lumens
• ECO: 20 hours at 300 lumens
• Flash: 9 hours
• Pulse: 11 hours
• SOS: 10 hours

To turn off: Press and hold the button for 5 seconds.

2. Battery Status

Indicates remaining battery life:

• > 71%: Green indicator
• 70% - 31%: Orange indicator
• < 30%: Red indicator

3. Fluorescent Button

The button may have a fluorescent element for visibility.

4. Start-Up

To turn on: Click the button once. Wait 3 seconds for the light to activate.

5. Overheating Protection

Attention: ⚠️ Do not stare directly at the operating light source.

The light has an auto-function to reduce brightness if it exceeds 59°C (±3°C -10%):

• 59°C (100% brightness)
• 60°C (90% brightness)
• 63°C (80% brightness)
• 66°C (70% brightness)
• 69°C (60% brightness)
• 72°C (50% brightness)
• 75°C (5% brightness)

Battery Pack Status

Indicates battery charge level:

• 100%
• 75%
• 50%
• 25%

Press the button once to check status.

Charging

Charging time is approximately 5 hours.

USB Charging

Connect a Micro USB cable (not included) to charge the device. You must press the button once before charging begins. Charging will not start without this initial press.

USB Silicone Plug

The device is IP44 waterproof rated. ? Always keep the silicone plug closed after charging to maintain water resistance.

Remote Control

1. Pairing

To pair the remote control with the Buster 2000, press and hold the button on the remote for 2 seconds.

2. Modes

The remote control has two buttons:

• Button 1 (ON/OFF): Double-click to turn ON. Press and hold for 5 seconds to turn OFF. Also controls FLASH and SOS flashing modes.
• Button 2 (PERMANENT): Cycles through HIGH, MID, LOW, ECO, Pulse, and SOS flashing modes with successive clicks.

3. Installation

Refer to diagrams for mounting the Buster 2000 light and accessories.

4. Remote Battery Indicator

Indicates the remote control's battery status: 'OK' or '0%' (empty).

5. Battery Change

Instructions for changing the battery pack (model Ref. No. 17004).

6. Sleep Mode

The remote control enters sleep mode after 1 hour of inactivity. ? To reactivate, operate the Buster 2000 directly on the housing.

7. Fluorescent Button

Refers to the button on the light unit itself.

Warranty Information

SIGMA SPORT provides a 2-year warranty for the lighting system from the date of purchase. The warranty covers material and workmanship defects on the lighting system and handlebar bracket. It does not cover cables, batteries, or assembly materials. The warranty is void if parts are opened, force is used, or intentional damage occurs. Keep your receipt for claims. Contact your specialist retailer or SIGMA-ELEKTRO GmbH for warranty claims. Replacement devices will be comparable models available at the time of replacement. Manufacturer reserves the right to make technical modifications.

Battery Disposal

Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste (European Battery Law). Please dispose of properly per local ordinance. Product Safety Information

BUSTER 2000 CHARGER

• For use by children aged 8+ with supervision.
• Children shall not play with the charger.
• Cleaning and maintenance by children require supervision.
• Cannot recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Only for charging Li-ion batteries (max capacity 6.4 Ah).

BUSTER 2000 BATTERY PACK

• Use only the specified power supply (Manufacturer: SIGMA-ELEKTRO GmbH, model no.: MJCT-08402500-B05).
• Do not expose to excessive heat.
• Do not open; refer servicing to qualified personnel.
• Use only manufacturer-specified accessories.
• Dispose of electrical/electronic products and batteries separately from municipal waste.

BUSTER 2000

• The light source is not replaceable; the entire luminaire must be replaced at end of life.
• Do not stare at the operating light source.
• Use only the provided rechargeable battery and battery charger.
