Recording/Mic Play the prompt sound. Note : Resetting to factory settings will restore all app settings to their defaults. You'll need to adjust the settings again according to your preferences. 2. Installing a Memory Card Before using the dash cam, you need to install a compatible memory card first. Insert the memory card into the slot. Press it in until it clicks. 4. Formatting the Memory Card Formatting the memory card will delete all videos, photos, and data stored on it!!! Please format the memory card when using it for the first time. It's recommended to format the memory card every 1-2 months to avoid potential reading issues later on. 5. Formatting Steps Go to the app interface to connect to the dash cam's WiFi. Camera Settings > Format SD Card Keep the camera connected to power until the formatting is finished. 5 / 12 6. Removing the Memory Card Note: Removing the memory card while the device is in use may cause data loss or damage to the device. Turn off the device. Press the card in until it clicks. Release the card. The card will pop out of the slot. APP Download & Connection 1. APP Download Scan the QR code below to download the app for managing dash cam. 2. Connecting the Dash Cam Go to the APP > Connect dash cam > Select dash cam WiFi (Star with Car****) > Enter initial password WI-FI : Password : Car************* 12345678 6 / 12 3. Change WiFi Password Go to the App > Connect dash cam > Camera setting > WiFi password Note: To change the password in the app, you need to connect to the dash cam. If you forget the password, you can press and hold the photo button to reset the dash cam to factory settings, which will reset the password to: 12345678. Dash Cam Recording Note: Some jurisdictions regulate or prohibit use of this device. It is your responsibility to know and comply with applicable laws and rights to privacy in jurisdictions where you plan to use this device. Instructions for Use By default, the dash cam automatically starts recording video when you start your vehicle. The dash cam saves video and photoes to the memory card. Make sure to save important video footage to avoid it being overwritten or deleted. By default,The car recorder will keep recording after startup, it will keep recording in one-minute units, the length of the unit video can't be adjusted. To stop recording, simply press the power button once. Press it again to resume recording. When you open the "Camera Files" or "Camera Settings" sections of the app, the device will stop recording. 1. Loop Recording The dash cam uses loop recording. When the memory card is full, the newest video will overwrite the oldest one. It's a good idea to regularly check and save any important video files to avoid losing them. 2. Collision Sensing By default, collision sensing is turned off, and when you turn it on the device uses the G sensor to monitor vehicle conditions. If a collision is detected, it automatically saves and locks the video, allowing you to view footage of the accident. This feature is also used in parking monitoring. It automatically turns on and records one minute of video as soon as it detects a collision. 7 / 12 Note : Since collision-detected videos are locked and not overwritten, you'll need to delete them regularly. If locked videos fill up the memory card, it may interfere with normal recording. 3. Taking a Photo Push the shooting button. The device saves a photo to the memory card. Parking Monitoring Note: Due to privacy regulations, this feature is not available in all areas. It is your responsibility to know and comply with applicable laws and rights to privacy in your jurisdiction. The parking monitoring function is off by default, you need to go to APP to turn it on. There are two modes for the parking monitor ,choose one based on your needs: 1. Time-lapse Recording Mode The dash cam will capture one image every 3 seconds, which will automatically form a video after the parking monitor ends. How to activate time-lapse recording: Connect the dash cam WIFI > Camera Settings > Parking Monitoring Mode > Time-lapse Recording. 2. Parking Monitoring When the dash cam detects a collision, it will instantly power on and record one minute of video, then automatically shut down. How to activate time-lapse recording: Connect the dash cam WIFI > Camera Settings > Parking Guard 3. Low Voltage Protection This dash cam uses very little power and has a low voltage protection mode. You can choose from three voltage settings: 11.2V, 11.5V, and 11.8V. When the car's voltage drops below your selected setting, the dash cam will automatically turn off to protect the car's battery. Monitoring Duration Setting Depending on your needs, you can set the parking monitoring duration to 1H, 6H, 24H, or 48H. View vehicle-detected collision events, select Emergency events. View captured photos, select Capture event. 2. Viewing Videos and Photos on Your Computer To access the files on the memory card, you'll need a card reader. Simply insert the memory card into the card reader and then connect the reader to your computer. 3. Managing Video Files Download File Connect to dash cam WiFi > Camera File > Click on the corresponding video > Download. Viewing the Live View Camera Feed Connect your phone to the recorder's Wi-Fi network first, then you can view the video in real time on your phone. 5. Timeline Function This interface has a timeline in days, select the date you want to view, and the timeline has different colors to differentiate between different types of videos, making it easy to look at the events of the day and pinpoint the time of day they occurred. How to Clean the Camera Lens You should clean the camera lens regularly to improve the quality of recorded video.
