Singsation Rhapsody Quick Start Guide

All-In-One Karaoke System

Step 1: Unpack

Make sure the following items came in this package:

  • Singsation Rhapsody All-In-One Karaoke System
  • Microphone with Cable
  • Charging Cable
  • Remote Control

Step 2: Charge the Speaker

Plug one end of the charging cable into the [DC 5V jack] on the front of the speaker. Plug the other end into a USB charging adapter (not included).

The indicator light next to the [ECHO dial] turns red while the speaker is charging.

Step 3: Plug In the Mic

Plug the microphone cable into the [MIC jack] on the front of the speaker.

Step 4: Remove the Remote Battery Tab

Pull the battery tab out of the bottom of the remote. The battery will start powering the remote.

Step 5: Turn On the Speaker

Turn the [ON-OFF/Volume dial] on the front of the speaker to the ON position to turn it on. This dial also adjusts the speaker's volume.

The speaker announces "Pairing."

Note: When the [ON-OFF dial] is in the ON position, the [Power button] on the remote can be used to turn the speaker on and off.

Step 6: Pair With the Speaker

Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on. Select "Singsation SPKA24" from the available devices to pair with the speaker.

The speaker announces "Device connected" when pairing and connection are complete.

Note: The process for enabling Bluetooth and connecting varies by device. Refer to your device's owner's manual for specific instructions.

If a phone or other Bluetooth device was previously paired, the Rhapsody will automatically attempt to reconnect. To pair a new device, turn off Bluetooth on the already paired device. The speaker will announce "Pairing."

Bluetooth Wireless Connection Tips

  • Ensure your device's Bluetooth capability is turned on.
  • Make sure nothing is plugged into the [AUX input] when trying to use Bluetooth.
  • The Bluetooth connection has a range of approximately 33 feet (10 meters), which can vary based on room layout, wall materials, obstacles, and device performance. Move closer to the speaker if experiencing connection issues.
  • If your device prompts for a password, use "0000".

Step 7: Start Playing Music

Turn your phone's volume up to 75%.

Start playing music on your phone.

Step 8: Turn On the Mic and Sing Along!

Move the microphone's ON/OFF switch to the ON position and start singing.

To adjust music volume: Use your phone's volume controls.

To adjust music AND voice volume: Turn the [ON-OFF/Volume dial] on the speaker or use the remote's [VOL-] and [VOL+] buttons.

To play/pause music: Press the [/TWS button] on the speaker or the [Play/Pause button] on the remote.

To skip to the next/previous track: Press the [<< button] or [>> button] on the speaker or remote.

Using Two Singsation Rhapsody Speakers Together (TWS Mode)

If you have two Singsation Rhapsody speakers, you can set them up for True Wireless Stereo (TWS) playback.

To set up True Wireless Stereo:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered ON.
  2. Quickly double-press the [/TWS button] on one Singsation Rhapsody speaker. The speaker will emit a sound indicating it's ready for TWS pairing.
  3. Press and hold the [/TWS button] on the same speaker until it emits a second sound. The speakers are now in TWS mode.

To return to single-speaker mode: Turn one speaker OFF or press and hold the [/TWS button] on that speaker. Speakers will return to TWS mode when turned on again.

Using the Light Show

The Singsation Rhapsody includes a light show that activates by default when the speaker is ON.

To turn the speaker's light show ON/OFF: Press and hold the [M/ button] on the front of the speaker.

Using Other Audio Sources

Besides Bluetooth audio, the Singsation Rhapsody supports four other audio sources: FM radio, USB memory, SD card, and an auxiliary input.

To use FM radio: Press the [M/ button] on the front of the speaker. For the first use of FM radio, press the [>> button] on the front to scan available stations (this may take a few minutes). Then use the [<< button] or [>> button] to navigate between radio stations.

To use a USB memory stick or SD card: Insert the USB memory stick or SD card into the [USB port] or [TF CARD slot] on the front of the speaker. If MP3 music files are present in the top directory, the speaker will play them automatically.

Note: The speaker offers additional functions for music playback from an SD card or USB memory stick. Press the [EQ button] on the remote to cycle through EQ settings (names appear on the display). Press the [RPT button] to repeat a track. These functions are only available for USB memory stick or SD card.

To use an auxiliary audio source: Connect your auxiliary audio source to the [AUX input] on the front of the speaker using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). The speaker will automatically switch to the auxiliary input.

To return to Bluetooth audio: Press and hold the [M/ button] on the front of the speaker until the display shows "BLUE."

Remote Control

  • The [Power button] turns the speaker ON/OFF if the [ON-OFF dial] is ON.
  • [Mode button] switches between audio sources: FM radio, USB memory, SD card, and AUX (auxiliary input).
  • [Mute button] silences the audio.
  • [/TWS button], [<< button], and [>> button] play/pause, skip back, and skip forward for audio on the current input (except for AUX).
  • [EQ button] cycles through EQ presets for SD card and USB inputs. The name of each preset is shown on the speaker's display.
  • [VOL-] and [VOL+] adjust the speaker's volume.
  • Number keys select a song directly on SD and USB inputs.
  • [RPT button] repeats the current song on SD and USB inputs.
  • [U/SD] has no function on this speaker.

Speaker Front Panel

  • [MIC jack]: Connect the included microphone for karaoke.
  • [ECHO control]: Adjusts the echo effect for your voice.
  • [AUX input]: Connect an auxiliary audio source using a 3.5mm cable (not provided).
  • [Display]: Shows the current source and related information (e.g., FM station, EQ setting for USB/SD card).
  • [TF CARD slot] and [USB port]: Insert an SD card or USB memory stick to listen to music.
  • [DC 5V jack]: Connect the included micro-USB charging cable and then to a USB power source for charging.
  • [OFF-ON dial]: Turns the speaker ON/OFF and adjusts volume. Leave in the ON position to use the remote for power control.
  • [/TWS button], [<< button], and [>> button]: Play/pause, skip tracks for the current input (except AUX).
  • [M/ button]: Cycles through the speaker's audio inputs. Press and hold to turn the speaker's light show ON/OFF.
