Westinghouse Solar LED Wall Light with Motion Sensor

Item: SR58FA01H-08

Instructions

For First Time Use: Solar light needs to charge in full sunlight for 8-12 hours with the switch in the "ON" position to fully charge the battery. The intelligent solar LED motion activated light measures the available battery power capacity and adjusts the light's performance to maximize runtime.

Installation

Tools Required

  • Pencil
  • Phillips-head Screwdriver
  • Electric drill with drill bit size: Ø7.5mm (3/10 in.)

Hardware Included

  • (A) Screw x 4
  • (B) Wall Anchor x 4

Parts

  • (C) Light Fixture x 2

Step 1: Marking the location

Mark the location where you want to mount the light fixture (Part C). Measure the width of two holes on the back of the light to align holes for the 2 screws (Part A) on the surface. The distance between the two holes is 5.12in. (130mm). Drill two holes.

Step 2: Mounting the light fixture

  1. Insert the wall anchors (Part B) so they are flush with the surface.
  2. Insert the screws (Part A) and leave at least 1/4in. (6.3mm) of the screws (Part A) outside of the surface for holding the light.
  3. Mount the light (Part C) on the screws (Part A) by placing the keyholes on the back of the light over the screw heads.

Note: Light fixture will stay on for 30 seconds when triggered by motion delivering up to 2000 Lumens and revert back to standby mode delivering up to 50 lumens until motion is detected. For best performance, mount the light a minimum 6 feet (1.8 m) above the ground. Motion detection range is up to 20 feet (6 m), motion detection angle is up to 120°. Light fixtures use radio frequency technology to link, and light fixtures should not be greater than 90 feet (27 m) apart for linked function to work properly. When one light is triggered by motion, both lights will activate and deliver up to 2000 lumens. The package includes 2 lights. These 2 lights are factory linked, and can not be linked with more of the same type light or any other lights. If there are performance or quality issues, both units need to be replaced with another set.

Trouble Shooting

If light doesn't turn on, check the battery to ensure that it is making secure contact with the terminals. If this doesn't work, replace with a new battery.

Replacing the Battery

  1. Slide the power switch to the "OFF" position.
  2. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the 8 screws holding the battery cover in place.
  3. Replace old batteries with 2 new 3.7V, 2000 mAh lithium (18650) rechargeable batteries.
  4. Replace the battery cover by aligning it properly and replacing the 8 screws removed earlier.
  5. Slide the power switch to the "ON" position.
  6. For optimal performance, allow light fixture to charge in full sunlight for 8-12 hours, to fully charge the battery.
