This guide provides essential information for using your BLU G44+ smartphone.
About Your Phone
Transportation Safety

Hospital Safety
Follow hospital rules and limitations and turn off your mobile phone when near medical instruments.
Airport Safety
Remember to follow all airport and flight safety regulations.
Water Hazard
Your phone is not waterproof. Keep your phone away from water or liquid to avoid damage.
Emergency Calls
Make sure your mobile phone is switched on and in a service area. On the home screen, tap the phone key and dial the emergency number.
Battery Usage
For better performance and longer battery life, it is recommended that you charge the battery fully before using the mobile phone for the first time and that you initially complete two to three charge cycles.
IMEI Information
To check your IMEI, press *#06#.
Key Functions
Front View
- Front Camera: Located at the top front of the device.
- Search Bar: For Google search.
- Volume Buttons: Adjusts ringer, call, and multimedia volume.
- Power On/Off Button: Powers the device on/off and locks the screen.
- Home Button: Pauses current action and returns to the home screen.
- Back Button: Returns to the previous screen or closes the keyboard/menu.
- Recent Apps Button: Shows recently opened applications and allows switching or closing them.
Rear View
- Rear Camera: High-resolution camera for photos and videos.
- Flash: Provides light for low-light conditions and can be used as a flashlight.
- Fingerprint Sensor: Security measure to unlock the device with fingerprints.
Device Configuration
Follow these steps to set up your phone:
- Insert SIM: Insert your SIM card to register to the network.
- Select Language: Choose your preferred language from the welcome screen. Vision settings (magnification, font, display size) can also be adjusted here. An Emergency Call can be placed.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Connect to a Wi-Fi network for internet access. Unsecured networks connect directly; secured networks require a password. Connecting to Wi-Fi is recommended for software updates.
- Copy Apps & Data: Transfer apps, pictures, music, and more from a previous device, or set up as new.
- Add Your Account: Sign in with your Google™ Account for streamlined services like Google Play, Google Drive, and Google Pay. Create a new account if needed. Security verification may be required.
- Google Services: Add services like Google Assistant, Backup and Restore, Location Services, and App Updates.
- Set Fingerprint Security: Set up fingerprint for unlocking and app authorization. Options include PIN, Password, or Pattern. You can also set up Face Unlock or skip this step.
- Finalize Setup: Configure Google Assistant and Google Pay. Add email addresses, control lock screen information, and review additional apps. This step can be skipped.

This phone is hearing aid compatible as determined by ANSI C63.19-2019.
The phone has been tested and certified for use with hearing aids for some wireless technologies. It is important to test thoroughly in different locations with your hearing aid or cochlear implant to identify any interfering noise. Consult your service provider or the manufacturer for more information.
The ANSI C63.19-2019 standard uses conversational gains for hearing aid compatibility. The lowest conversational gain is 13.85 dB with a hearing aid, and 18.68 dB without a hearing aid.

SIM Card Installation
Warning: Keep the SIM card out of reach of children. The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by scratching or bending. Handle with care during transport, installation, or removal.
Note: Contact your cellular service provider directly to obtain your SIM card.
To insert the SIM card:
- Remove the rear cover. Insert the SIM card.
- Insert the SD card (for additional storage capacity).
Insert the battery, replace the rear cover, and power on the phone.
