The biggest change in the 2005 Fox is our NEW ALUMINUM SUPERSTRUCTURE... .... and that's what makes an Arctic Fox, ...A SILVER FOX EDITION! Our all aluminum welded construction process makes our camper frame very strong, durable and comparatively light weight for the strength it offers.. Solid foam block insulation is fitted within the frame, then all walls, floors and ceiling structures are laminated using a state of the art, automated, hot urethane pressure lamination process. Each constructed panel becomes a bonded and unified element. Your Silver Fox Edition camper structure will be warmer, stronger and lighter. This construction process is very similar in many ways to aircraft assembly, where strength and weight ratios are critical to performance.
Inside the Silver Edition Fox, you will immediately notice a substantial increase in the interior living space.

Northwood has 'raised the bar' for the competition by raising
the floor over the wheel wells with it's new unique Aluminum
Floor Truss system. This new truss assembly adds
considerable strength to the camper basement floor where the
large fresh, grey and black water holding tanks are located.
The Silver Fox Edition boasts a main floor plan that is nearly
One Foot Wider than previous models and all of this additional
floor space is packaged within the same overall 'foot print' of
the previous models.

In addition to the wider main floor, the Silver Edition Fox's aluminum construction allowed Northwood designers to create a grand slide-out that is even bigger than the large full wall slide found in previous models. The new aluminum laminated slide module is a full 26" deep, adding nearly 22 cubic feet of extra interior space in the dinette/refer cabinet area and with the wider main floor, you will immediately notice the additional interior space - over 40 cubic feet total!
Northwood also increased the capacity of the battery
compartment in the new Silver Edition. Owners will be pleased
to find they can now include two group 29 batteries on the slide
out tray for a total of 420 amps.
