7 Guidelines for Operation
The riflescope has been designed for long-term use. To ensure long performance, please adhere to the following: Before use make sure that you have installed and fixed the mount according to
the instructions of the section "Installation of mount". Store with the lens cover on in the carrying case. Turn the scope off after use. The riflescope is not designed for submersion. Attempts to disassemble or repair the scope will void the warranty! The riflescope can be used in various operating temperatures. However, if it has
been brought indoors from cold temperatures, do not turn it on for 3 to 4 hours. This will prevent external optical surfaces from fogging. If the scope is unable to mount onto the rifle securely, or you have doubts about the mounting system, see a qualified gunsmith. Using the weapon with a poorly mounted scope can lead to inaccurate target shooting! To ensure reliable performance, it is recommended to carry out regular technical inspections of the unit. To ensure optimal image in the daytime, the lens cover with integrated filter must be closed.
8 Rechargeable Battery
Warning! To ensure longer operating time for your riflescope, we suggest using the supplied rechargeable DNV Battery Pack (BP)(included).
Charging the rechargeable battery
Install into the charging container (A) the BP (B) observing polarity. Battery Pack's contacts (C) must match the container's contacts (D).
Make sure that the BP's lever is the «OPEN» position. Press the Battery Pack cover and turn the Battery Pack lever (E) 90 degrees
clockwise. Plug the mains charger (F) into a socket 100-240V. The indicator on the charger
will glow red. After full charge the indicator will change its color to green. Remove the charger from the socket. Install the BP all the way in as shown, turn the BP's lever.
Precautions
To prevent short circuit, do not carry the battery Pack outside its pouch in a pocket, especially together with metal objects.
Do not expose to, dispose of the Battery Pack in fire. The Battery Pack is not water-resistant. Battery packs are short circuit protected. However, situation which may cause
short circuit should be avoided. Do not dismantle or deform the Battery Pack. Keep out of reach of children.

Charging
Only use the charger supplied with the Battery Pack. The use of another charger may irreparably damage the Battery Pack or the charger and may cause fire.
Never use a modified or damaged charger. Charging current and voltage must comply with the parameters outlined in the
specifications table. Charge the Battery Pack at a temperature ranging from 0 °C to +45 °C. Do not leave the Battery Pack with a charger connected to the mains longer
than 24 hours after full charge. Do not leave the battery unattended when charging!
Storage and maintenance
Store the Battery Pack in a cool, dry, well-aerated place. Store the Battery Pack in a charged condition. Remove the Battery pack from NV device during storage/transportation.
6
Installing "AA" type rechargeable batteries
To use "AA" type batteries, please purchase an accessory "Yukon DNV Battery Holder" (SKU#29116). WARNING! Please use only rechargeable type "AA" (LR06) batteries. The use of regular (non-rechargeable) batteries drastically reduces riflescope's operating time. Turn the knob of the battery compartment cover (7) 90° counterclockwise to the
Open position and remove the battery container by raising it by its lug. Slide in four batteries so that the "+" and "-" match the polarity on the
compartment. Insert the battery compartment into its place and turn the knob 90° clockwise
(see section "External view and components"). Warning! To prevent short circuit, do not carry the battery Pack outside its pouch in a pocket, especially together with metal objects.
9 Operation
Installation of mount
Before using the riflescope you need to install a mount (13) (Pic. 4)(may not be included).
The mounting holes in the base of the riflescope enable the mount to be installed in one of the multiple positions. The choice of the mounting position helps the user to ensure the correct eye relief depending on the rifle type.
Attach the mount to the base of the riflescope using a hex-nut wrench and screws.
Install the riflescope on the rifle and check if the position is suitable for you. If you are happy with its position, remove the riflescope, unscrew the screws
halfway, apply some thread sealant onto the thread of the screws and tighten them fully (suggested torque power is 2-3Nm). Let the sealant dry for a while. The riflescope is ready to be installed on a rifle and to be zeroed. After first installation of your riflescope on a rifle, please follow instructions in the section "Zeroing".
Powering on and image setup
Open the lens cover (2). Turn the riflescope on with a short press of the ON (4) button. Image appears on

To select menu option "stadiametric rangefinder", enter the quick menu with a brief press of the controller and select icon by rotating the controller.
You will see on the display: measurement bars, icons of three reference objects and respective distances for the three objects.
There are three pre-set reference objects:
160m
Hare height 0.3 m
66m
Wild boar height 0.7 m
28m
Deer height 1.7 m
Move the lower fixed bar under the object being ranged and, by rotating the controller, move the upper horizontal bar relative to the lower fixed bar until the object fits entirely between the two bars. The distance to the object is automatically recalculated as you move the upper line.
If ranging does not take place within 10 seconds, the information disappears from the display.
To select the unit of measurement (metres or yards), go to the respective menu option.
Before it appears on the display, a measured distance value is rounded up to 5 m for larger values, and rounded down to 1 m for smaller values.
Exit rangefinder mode with a brief press of the controller or wait 10 seconds to exit automatically.

17 Function DISPLAY OFF
The Display off function deactivates transmission of image to the display by minimizing its brightness. This prevents accidental disclosure. The riflescope and the built-in IR Illuminator keep running.
When the riflescope is on, hold down the ON (4) button. Display goes out, message "Display off".
To activate the display, press briefly the ON button.
When holding down the ON button, the display shows "Display off" message with countdown, the device will turn off.

18 Video Output
The riflescope features a video output (HDMI type) designed to transmit image to a monitor and to connect an external video recorder. Transmitting image to a monitor: Connect one jack of the HDMI video cable to the micro HDMI port (8) of the
riflescope. The other jack to the micro HDMI port of a monitor. Turn the riflescope on with a brief press of the ON button image will appear
on an external device. The external device should be operating in the AV mode (monitor). Video recording: Connect one jack of the HDMI video cable to the micro HDMI port (8) of the riflescope. The other jack to a signal converter. Connect one jack of the USB cable to the video converter, the other one to the USB of your smartphone. Download a third party application for the converter to your smartphone. Turn the riflescope on with a brief press of the ON button. Launch the application on your smartphone. Follow instructions in the application to record video. Attention! Output resolution of the HDMI device must support 1024x768p50 (1024x768, p- progressive scanning, 50 frequency in Hz).
19 Using the WEAVER Rail
The riflescope is equipped with a Weaver rail (9) which allows the user to mount extra accessories such as: LED IR Illuminators Pulsar-805/Pulsar-940/Pulsar- X850 (#79071/79076/79074) IR Illuminator Pulsar AL915 (#79132)
20 Technical Inspection
Please check before every hunt: External view (there should be no cracks on the housing). Correct mounting of the riflescope on your rifle (clearances are not allowed).
19
Correct functioning of the controls. Ensure that the objective lens, eyepiece, IR illuminator are free of cracks, grease
spots, dirt, water stains and other residue. Smoothness of the objective lens focus knob, dioptre focus knob. The state of the Battery Pack (should be charged) and electric terminals (there
should be no oxidation).
21 Technical Maintenance
Technical maintenance should be done at least twice a year, includes the following steps: Clean the outside metal and plastic surfaces from dust, dirt and moisture; wipe
the scope with a soft lint free cloth. Clean the electric contact points inside the battery compartment, external
contacts of the Battery Pack or battery holder for AA rechargeable batteries using an oil-free solvent. Inspect the eyepiece lens, the objective lens, IR illuminator and rangefinder and gently blow off any dust and sand, and clean using lens cleaner and a soft cloth. Inspect the eyepiece lens, the objective lens, IR illuminator and gently blow off any dust and sand, and clean using lens cleaner and a soft cloth.
22 Storage
Always store the riflescope in its carrying case in a dry, well-ventilated space. For prolonged storage, remove the Battery Pack.
23 Troubleshooting
Listed below are some potential problems that may occur when using the scope. Carry out the recommended checks and troubleshooting steps in the order listed. Please note that the table does not list all of the possible problems. If the problem experienced with the scope is not listed, or if the suggested action meant to correct it does not resolve the problem, please contact your seller.
20
PROBLEM The riflescope will not turn on.
The reticle is blurred and cannot be focused with the dioptre knob.
The image is too dark. With a crisp image of the reticle, the image of the observed target that is at least 30 m away is blurred. The aiming point shifts after firing rounds.
The riflescope will not focus.
POSSIBLE CAUSE The Battery Pack is empty. Wrong polarity in the battery holder (if rechargeable AA batteries are used). Oxidized contact points in the riflescope, in the Battery Pack or in the battery holder The diopter adjustment range is not enough for your eyesight.
Condensation on the external surface of the eyepiece lens. Brightness or contrast level is too low. Dust and condensate are covering the outside optical surfaces after the riflescope was brought in from the cold into a warm environment, for example. The riflescope is not mounted securely or the mount was not fixed with thread sealant.
Wrong settings.
ORRECTIVE ACTION
Charge the Battery Pack.
Install the batteries as shown on the battery container.
Clean the contacts.
If you wear prescription glasses with a range of 2.5/+5, keep glasses on when looking through the eyepiece.
Clean the lens with a cloth.
Adjust brightness/contrast level.
Clean the lens surfaces with a blower and soft lens cloth. Let the riflescope dry by leaving it in a warm environment for 4 hours.
Check that the riflescope has been securely mounted, make sure that the same type and calibre bullets are being used as when the scope was initially zeroed; if your riflescope was zeroed during the summer, and is now being used in the winter (or the other way round), a slight shift of the aiming point is possible.
Adjust the riflescope according to the instructions given in the Section 9 "OPERATION" and check the surfaces of the eyepiece and objective lenses and clean them if necessary from dust, condensation, frost, etc; to prevent fogging in cold weather, apply a special anti-fog solution.
21
PROBLEM
Poor image quality Image is over-exposed.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
ORRECTIVE ACTION
The riflescope is used in the daytime at long distances.
Check focusing in the nighttime.
Problems described may arise in adverse weather conditions (snow, rain, fog etc.).
Barely visible texture which does not hinder detection range or efficiency of observation can be noticed on the display after the extra laser IR Illuminator (AL915) is activated.
Stripes appear on the display or image disappears.
There are several light or black dots (pixels) on riflescope's display or sensor.
Use the riflescope with a closed lens cover. This effect is due to the peculiarity of operation of IR Illuminators and it's not a defect.
The riflescope has accumulated static charge during operation.
As soon as the impact of the static charge is over, the device may reboot automatically; alternatively please turn off and restart the device.
Presence of dots is caused by peculiarities of sensor or display production technology and is not a defect.
Service life of the riflescope is 10 years.
