Note to Riders Under 18: Parental permission is required before riding. Carefully unpack and check all contents. Contact support@heybike.com if any items are missing or damaged. Included Items: The Heybike Explore features a handlebar with grip, display controls, throttle, and LCD display. The bike itself includes a saddle, seat post, battery, pedals, crankset, motor, wheel chain, tire, disc brake, front light, and suspension front fork. Proper seat height is crucial for comfort and safety. Adjust the seat so that when your foot is on the pedal at its lowest point, your leg is almost fully extended with a slight bend at the knee. The suspension fork provides up to 80mm of travel for a smoother ride. It can also be locked out for increased pedaling efficiency. Familiarize yourself with the key port and its positions: Note: Press the key to switch to the unlock position. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Setting Mode: Press and hold '+' and '-' simultaneously to enter setting mode. Press 'i' to confirm and move to the next setting, or press and hold 'i' to exit. Press and hold '+' and '-' to enter setting mode, then press and hold '-' and 'i' to enter Wheel Diameter and Max Speed Setting mode. The factory default speed limit is 20 mph, but the maximum speed is 28 mph. You may need to adjust this setting. Press and hold '+' and '-' to enter setting mode, then press and hold '+' and '-' again to enter Personalized Setting. This includes voltage, speed, and power sensor settings. Refer to the Heybike Help Center for detailed instructions. Setting Table: Regular inspection and maintenance are essential for optimal performance and longevity. Service intervals are guidelines; actual needs may vary based on usage conditions. Perform this checklist before every ride and after every 25-45 miles (40-72 km). Cables, spokes, and the chain may stretch after an initial break-in period (50-100 miles). Bolted connections can loosen. A tune-up by a certified mechanic after the initial break-in period is recommended. The Heybike Explore uses 26"x4" tires. Maintain proper inflation and condition for safety and performance. Heybike recommends 20 PSI for the stock tires. Always adhere to the manufacturer's recommended air pressure range indicated on the tire sidewall. Important: For more information on tire or tube replacement, visit heybike.com/pages/help-center or contact support@heybike.com.
