Hiseeu Guard Viewer App & Guard Station PC Client Setup Guide

Setup on Mobile APP "Guard Viewer"

  1. Download and Install the App

Scan the QR code to download the free APP “Guard Viewer”. Alternatively, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the Guard Viewer app for iOS or Android devices. After installation, tap the app icon to launch it.

A QR code for Android app download is shown next to a QR code for iOS app download.

  2. Register an Account and Login

For first-time use, create a new account and add the camera by tapping “Sign up” and following the on-screen prompts to register an account via email.

Screenshots illustrate the 'Login' screen with fields for Username/Email and Password, and the 'Sign Up' screen with fields for email, a 'Verify' button, and checkboxes for 'Service Agreement' and 'Privacy Policy'.

  3. Add Device

Auto-add is not suggested. If a message box appears with “New device(s) discovered. Add now?”, tap “Later”.

If auto-add is used, the app will auto-search to discover the XVR device connected to the local network. However, if your mobile phone disconnects from the LAN WiFi, you will no longer be able to view the device.

A screenshot shows a pop-up message: "New device(s) discovered. Add now?" with options "Later" and "Add".

    3.1 Add Devices Manually

Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) > Tap on “Devices” > “Add”.

Screenshots display the app's main menu with options like Live View, Playback, Devices, and the 'Add' device screen with options to 'Enter the device name' or '+ Add'.

Tap on “Scan” > “OK” to scan the XVR QR code.

Screenshots show the 'Add By' menu with options 'Scan', 'Manual Add', 'Auto Search in LAN', 'Add Wi-Fi Device', and a screen for scanning a QR code on the device body or in the device system, with an 'OK' button.

  4. 3.2 Navigate to Network > Basic > P2P

If the Device Status is “Network connected...”, it means the device is online and ready for remote viewing.

A screenshot of the XVR system's web interface shows Network settings, specifically the P2P tab, with 'Enable P2P' checked, 'Server Address' as www.star4live.com, and 'Device Status' as 'Network connected'. A QR code for adding the device is also visible.

If the Device Status is “Offline”, check the network connection first. If the problem persists, contact Hiseeu support at Love@Hiseeu.com.

After successfully adding the device, the “Device status” will be “Online”, and your APP account username will display. You can check your APP username by navigating to “Me”. If the username is incorrect, click “Delete” and add it again.

  5. 3.3 Add XVR by Scanning Device QR Code

Scan the device QR code and click on “save”.

Screenshots show the XVR P2P settings with device details like Register Code, Username (HiseeuSecurityCam), and a QR code for adding the device. Another screenshot shows the app's main menu.

  6. Start Live View

Screenshots show the app's main menu with 'Live View' highlighted, and a live view screen displaying a camera feed.

4.2 Select the Device and Tap on “Start Live View”

Screenshots show the 'My Devices' list and a live view screen with controls for Snapshot, Record, Images, Quality, 2-way Audio, Device Config, PTZ, Alarm Output, and Close All.

4.3 Second Method to “Start Live View”

Tap the menu icon > “Device”. Then click the play icon > “Start Live View”.

Screenshots illustrate navigating from the main menu to 'Devices' and then selecting 'Start Live View' from a list of device options.

  7. Enable Alarm Notifications

Ensure that alarm settings (Motion Detection and VCA) are configured properly. Launch the app, tap the menu icon > “Alarm Notifications” > “Allow Notifications” > “Enable the Device Notifications”.

Screenshots show the app's 'Alarm Notifications' section with a toggle to 'Allow Notifications' and a list of motion detection alarms.

  8. Share Device with Others

One device can only be linked to one user account. The XVR system can only be controlled by one authorized account, which can then share the device with others to prevent unauthorized access. For admin users, follow these instructions to share the device:

    1. Tap the menu icon > “Devices”.
    2. Tap the menu icon > “Share”. You can select a single channel to share or share the entire XVR system.

Screenshots show the app's main menu with 'Devices' highlighted, and the 'Share' screen allowing selection of individual cameras or the entire system.

    3. Share the device by typing the desired username and selecting functions as needed. The other user must register a Guard Viewer APP account and provide their username for sharing. After this, when the shared user logs into the app, they will find the device by navigating to “Devices”.

Screenshots show the 'Share' interface with options for 'Share To' (User), 'Valid Period', and 'Type' (By Function), along with a pop-up for entering usernames to share with.

    4. Share device by generating a QR code. Create a sharing password and set the valid period. Click “Generate”; your app will generate a QR code. Other users can use the app to add the device by scanning the QR code you sent.

Screenshots show the 'Share' and 'QR Code' tabs, with options to generate a QR code for sharing, and a generated QR code with sharing permission and valid period details.
