Important Safeguards
When using your electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric hazard and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or control panel buttons. The unit body can become very hot during prolonged use; handle it carefully.
- CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, cook only in the removable container.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or cooker body in water or other liquid.
- Do not add water beyond the maximum fill line inside the water tank, as it may overflow during cooking.
- Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- Using accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Intended for countertop use only.
- Do not use the appliance for purposes other than its intended use.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Exercise extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- A short power-supply cord is used to reduce risks from it being grabbed by children, becoming entangled, or tripping.
- WARNING: Spilled food can cause serious burns. Keep the appliance and cord away from children. Never drape the cord over the edge of a counter, never use an outlet below a counter, and never use with an extension cord.
- Before first use, ensure the appliance's electric rating conforms to the current electrical rating.
- To disconnect, turn the control to "off", then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- DO NOT place the unit on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Only carry the hot pot by its side handle.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug.

Parts and Features
The Midea Personal Electric Hot Pot includes the following components:
- Glass Cover: A transparent lid for viewing the cooking process.
- Steamer: An insert used for steaming food.
- Water Tank: The main cooking vessel where water and food are placed. It has a "MAX" fill line indicated.
- Housing: The outer body of the appliance.
- Handle: Located on the side of the housing for safe carrying.
The control panel on the housing features a dial with positions "0", "1", and "2" for power control.
How to Use
The power switch controls the heating function:
- Position "0": The product is OFF.
- Position "1": The product starts heating at low power (300W).
- Position "2": The product starts heating at high power (600W).
Function Description
- Boiling Water: After the water starts to boil, turn the knob to position "0" to stop heating.
- Cooking Starchy Food (e.g., noodles): Please open the cover after the water boils to prevent overflowing. For best results, turn the knob to position "1" after the water boils.
- Hot Pot: After the water boils, add side dishes to the water tank. Cook thoroughly. Turn the knob to position "1" for lower power cooking or position "0" to stop heating.
- Steaming: Add water to the water tank, place the steamer with food on top. Use position "1" or "2" for heating. Turn to position "0" to stop heating after food is steamed.
Note: For foods that require longer steaming (e.g., potatoes, dumplings), it is recommended to add enough clear water to prevent drying out and ensure food is cooked through.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Always unplug the power cord and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
- Gently wipe the inside of the water tank and the surface of the glass cover with a soft cloth soaked in neutral detergent.
- Wipe the outside surface of the housing with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
- Do not immerse the entire appliance, water tank, or base in water to avoid electric shock or malfunction.
- If the appliance is not used for an extended period, clean the water tank and store it properly after drying.

Limited One Year Warranty
This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning the product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace it with a similar one of equal or greater value.
This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the label (e.g., 120V~).
We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental consequential damages, so the foregoing limitations may not apply to you.
