Safety Precautions
- Install the unit in a well-ventilated, cool, dry, and clean location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, vibration, dust, moisture, or extreme cold.
- Use only the voltage specified for this unit. Using a higher voltage is dangerous and may cause fire, damage to the unit, or personal injury. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from the use of this unit with a voltage other than that specified.
- Do not attempt to modify or repair the unit yourself. Contact a salesperson or customer service if any service is needed. The cabinet should never be opened.
- When not planning to use the unit for extended periods (e.g., vacation), disconnect the power cable from the AC wall outlet.
Warranty Information
Service Term: Foshan Shuangmusanlin Technology Co., Ltd. (SMSL) promises good quality products. If the product is defective under normal use within 7 days after purchase, customers can choose to return or repair it (return only if the product does not affect secondary sales). Faulty products will be repaired free of charge within one year of normal use warranty.
Proof of Purchase: The purchase date is determined by the invoice or receipt issued by the seller. For online purchases, a transaction screenshot may be used.
Exclusions from Warranty ("Three Guarantees Service"):
- Damages caused by human factors, including use in non-normal working environments or failure to follow manual instructions.
- User-initiated disassembly, modification, or repair.
- Damage caused by using non-designated or unapproved accessories.
- Damage to QC or warranty stickers on the cabinet.
- Failure to provide valid proof of purchase.
- The product not belonging to SMSL.
Warranty Service Method: Repair by sending the unit in. These terms are primarily for mainland China. For other regions, please refer to the policies of local sales agents and national regulations.

Usage Instructions
1. USB Interface Computer Playback
- Connect the A100 to your computer using a suitable USB cable.
- Press the "Input" button (10) until the USB indicator (9) is lit, or select USB via the input button.
- Your computer should detect the device as "USB AUDIO". Open your computer's music player and select "USB AUDIO" as the playback device. (Ensure files are in a format supported by the A100.)
- Troubleshooting: If the computer does not detect "USB AUDIO" after switching from BT or LINE IN, unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, or power cycle the A100.
- For optimal sound quality, set your computer's volume to the maximum.
- When powering off, turn off the power amplifier first, then the computer.
2. Bluetooth Playback
- Press the "Input" button (10) until the BT indicator (9) is lit.
- On your mobile phone, turn on Bluetooth and search for devices. Select "SMSL BT5.0C" to connect.
- Once connected, open your mobile phone's music player to stream audio through the A100.
- To connect a different phone: Press and hold the "Input" button (10) for 2 seconds to clear the Bluetooth memory, then pair with the new phone.
- For optimal sound quality, set your phone's volume to the maximum.
3. Line Input Playback
- Press the "Input" button (10) until the AUX indicator (9) is lit.
- Connect your audio source (e.g., CD player, DAC) to the AUX input (5) using an appropriate audio cable.
- Playback will begin from the connected audio source.
Bluetooth Usage Notes
- The presence of other WiFi 2.4G or Bluetooth devices in the environment may cause interference, leading to connection issues, sound freezing, or playback interruptions.
- Bluetooth transmission effectiveness can be reduced by distance or obstructions (like walls). A clear line-of-sight distance of approximately 8-10 meters is recommended.
- Some Android mobile devices may have limited Bluetooth compatibility, potentially causing abnormal playback. Please confirm compatibility with your mobile phone before use.
