GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. Grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock in case of malfunction or breakdown. The appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate, properly installed, and grounded outlet in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
WARNING – Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if unsure about outlet grounding. Do not modify the provided plug; if it does not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Grounding Methods Description:
The appliance uses a nominal 120-V circuit and has a grounding attachment plug. Ensure connection to an outlet with the same configuration. No adapter should be used.

Installation
Important Information
- Tidy cables and loose items from the ground. Move any unstable, fragile, precious, or dangerous items to prevent personal injury or property damage from entanglement, impact, or tipping by the robot.
- When using the robot in a raised area, use a secure physical barrier to prevent accidental falls that may result in personal injury or property damage.
- Note: For the first use, follow the robot throughout its cleaning route to observe for potential problems. The robot will be able to clean autonomously in future uses.
B1 Position the charging dock
- B1-1: Attach the base by pressing down firmly on both sides of the base, then pressing the connecting part in the middle until a click is heard.
- B1-2: Connect the power cable to the back of the dock and store excess cable in the storage slot.
- B1-3: Place the dock on a hard and flat floor (wood/tile/concrete etc.), flat against a wall. Maintain at least 0.7 m (2.3 ft) clearance in front and 0.5 m (1.6 ft) clearance above. Ensure the location has good WiFi for optimal mobile app performance, then plug it in.
- B1-4: Clearance in front: more than 0.5 m (1.6 ft).
- B1-5: Clearance above: more than 0.7 m (2.3 ft).
Notes on Dock Placement
- If the power cable hangs vertically, it may be caught by the robot, causing the dock to move or disconnect.
- The dock indicator is on when powered, and off when the robot is charging. The indicator turns red if an error occurs.
- Place the dock away from fire, heat, and water. Avoid narrow spaces or locations where the robot may be suspended.
- Placing the dock on a soft surface (carpet/mat) may cause it to tilt, leading to docking and departing issues.
- Keep the dock away from direct sunlight or anything that might block the dock location beacon, as this can prevent the robot from returning to the dock.
- Do not use the dock without a clean water tank, dirty water tank, high-speed maintenance brush, dustbin, dust bag, or water filter.
- Maintain the dock according to instructions. Do not clean with a wet cloth or tissue.
- All docks undergo water-based tests at the factory; a small amount of water remaining in the waterway is normal.
B2 Power on and charge the robot
Press and hold the [Power/Clean button] to turn on the robot. When the power light illuminates, place the robot on the dock to charge. Confirm the charging dock power indicator turns off and a "charging" voice alert sounds. To maintain battery performance, keep the robot charged.
Note: The robot may not turn on if the battery is very low. Connect it to the dock in such cases.
