Thank you for purchasing the new UTi120S thermal imager. In order to use this product safely and correctly, please read this manual thoroughly, especially the Safety Instructions part.
After reading this manual, it is recommended to keep the manual at an easily accessible place, preferably close to the device, for future reference.

Uni-Trend guarantees that the product is free from any defect in material and workmanship within one year from the purchase date. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by accident, negligence, misuse, modification, contamination or improper handling. The dealer shall not be entitled to give any other warranty on behalf of Uni-Trend. If you need warranty service within the warranty period, please contact your seller directly.
Uni-Trend will not be responsible for any special, indirect, incidental or subsequent damage or loss caused by using this device.

2. Structure
The device structure is illustrated with numbered components. Component 1 is the Upper housing, 2 is the Interface protection cover, 3 is the Lower housing, 4 is the USB Type-C interface, 5 is the SD card slot, 6 is the Bracket screw hole, 7 is the Laser emission aperture, 8 is the LED light. On the right side, component 9 is the Infrared camera lens, 10 is the Image capture/trigger, 11 is the LCD, 12 is the OK button, 13 is the Up button, 14 is the Power / Back button, and 15 is the Down button.

Additional specifications include: 4 buttons (power, up, down, OK) and 1 trigger. Laser is Class 2. LED Light is present. Temperature alarms use LCD, LED, buzzer. Image storage is via Micro SD Card. Image format is BMP. PC analysis software is supported. USB communication uses Type-C USB. Battery is Li-ion 3.7V/2600mAh 18650. Operating time is continuous >9h. Charging time is ≤2.5h with 5V/2A. 3. LCD Indicators/Icons
The LCD display is 2.4 inches (495mm×377mm) with a resolution of 320 (vertical) × 240 (horizontal). The display shows temperature readings, date, time, and battery status. Key indicators include:

4. Power On/Off
To power on the thermal imager when it is off, long press the power button for 3 seconds. If the imager is in suspend state, short press the power button for 1 second to power on.
To enter suspend state when the imager is on, short press the power button for 1 second. To power off completely, long press the power button for 8 seconds until 'power off' is displayed.
5. Menu
Short press the OK button to enter the menu. Short press the Back button to return to the upper menu. Short press the trigger to return to the main interface.
Menu options include: Image View, Screen Display, HI/LO Alert, LED light, Palette, and Setting.
6. Image View
From the menu, select 'Image View' and press OK to enter the image viewing interface. Use Up/Down buttons to select an image. Press OK twice to view 'Picture Info' or 'Delete' images.
When viewing image info, details such as Picture Date, Time, Name, Emissivity, Center Temperature, High Temperature, Low Temperature, Resolution, and File Size are displayed.
7. Temperature Mark
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Screen Display'. Select 'Center Point' and press OK to toggle this function on/off. Other options include Hi/Lo Point, Palette, and Date&Time settings.
8. HI/LO Alert
In the menu, select 'HI/LO Alert' to configure alert settings. Options include Temperature Alert, Buzzer, HI Alert (high temperature threshold), and LO Alert (low temperature threshold).
9. LED light
In the menu, select 'LED light' to turn the flashlight on or off.
10. Palette
In the menu, select 'Palette' to choose from six color palettes: Rainbow, Iron, White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow HC, and Lava. Press OK to confirm the selection.
11. Language
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Language'. Press OK to switch between English and Chinese (中文).
12. Temperature Unit
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'TempUnit'. Press OK to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
13. Emissivity
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Emissivity'. Press OK to adjust the emissivity value, which ranges from 0.01 to 0.99 (default 0.95).
14. Laser
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Laser'. Press OK to turn the laser pointer on or off.
15. Time & Date
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Time&Date'. Press OK to enter the setting interface. Users can switch between 12H and 24H time formats and adjust the date and time using the Up/Down buttons. Press OK to confirm.
16. Brightness
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Brightness'. Press OK to select the screen brightness level: Low, Middle, or High.
17. Auto Power Off
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Auto Power Off'. Users can set the auto power off time to 5, 10, or 30 minutes, or disable the function.
18. Auto Save
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Auto Save'. Press OK to toggle the auto save function on or off.
19. Format SD
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Format SD'. Press OK to enter the setting interface. Press OK again to select 'Yes' or 'No' to format the SD card.
20. Device Info
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Device Info'. The interface displays device information including Model (UTI120S), Firmware version (V1.9), Total Capacity, and Available Capacity.
21. Factory Reset
In the menu, navigate to 'Setting' then 'Factory Reset'. Press OK to enter the setting interface. Press OK again to select 'Yes' or 'No' to perform a factory reset.
22. USB Communication and PC Analysis Software
- Refer to instructions to download and install the PC software.
- Connect the USB data cable to the computer to view images and analyze data.
- Read the Software User Manual for correct PC software usage.
- During USB communication, do not unplug the cable directly. Use the 'Remove Device' option on the computer if connected.
23. Maintenance
Clean the outer shell with a wet cloth or weak soap solution. Do not use abrasives, isopropyl alcohol, or solvents on the shell, lens, or window.
24. Safety Instructions
Read instructions carefully to ensure measurement accuracy. Use the product as per the user manual to avoid voiding the warranty. Do not use in flammable, explosive, steamy, humid, or corrosive environments. Do not use if damaged or dropped. Refer to emissivity for accurate temperature readings. Charging may increase internal temperature, affecting accuracy; avoid measurements during charging.
