Changing Tools
Your cordless drill/screwdriver has a fully automatic spindle lock (◼ LOCK SPINDLE). When the motor stops, the drive shaft locks, allowing the chuck (10) to be opened by turning. After inserting and securing the bit, you can work immediately. The spindle lock releases automatically when the motor starts.
2 Gear Drive
Note: Change the gear selector switch (1) only when the device is stopped.
- 1st Gear (Gear selector switch 1 in Position: 1): Up to approx. 350 rpm and high torque. Suitable for all screwing tasks.
- 2nd Gear (Gear selector switch 1 in Position: 2): Up to approx. 1300 rpm. Suitable for drilling tasks.
Torque Control / Drill Step
Use the torque control/drill step (9) to adjust torque. When the set torque is reached, the clutch disengages the drive. Select a low setting for small screws/soft material. Select a high setting for large screws/hard material or for screw extraction. For drilling, set the torque control/drill step to the drill position and push the gear selector switch (1) to position 2.
Preparing the Tool for Use
Changing the Direction of Rotation / Unlocking the Device
Unlock the device and change the direction of rotation by pressing the rotational direction switch (3) left or right.
Switching ON / OFF
- Switching on: Squeeze and hold the ON/OFF switch (4). The light (8) will also come on.
- Switching off: Release the ON/OFF switch (4).
- Changing Rotational Speed: The ON/OFF switch (4) has variable speed control. Light pressure results in low speed; increasing pressure increases speed.

Tips and Tricks
When Screwing into Wood, Metal and Other Materials:
- Screw bits are marked with dimensions and shape. Check bit fit in the screw head for play.
- Ensure the screw or drill bit is properly fitted and centered in the chuck.
- Avoid excessive torque or speed for small screws and bits, as they can be damaged.
- For hard screw beds (e.g., metal screws), select a lower rotation speed.
- For soft screw beds (wood), use a low speed to avoid damaging the surface. Use a countersinker if needed.
When Drilling into Wood, Metal and Other Materials:
- Use high speed for small diameter drill bits and low speed for large diameter drill bits.
- Use low speed for hard materials and high speed for soft materials.
- Secure the workpiece in a clamp or vice if possible.
- Mark the hole position with a centre punch or nail and use a low speed for pilot drilling.
- Periodically withdraw the rotating drill bit to clear swarf or dust and ventilate the hole.
- Drilling in Metal: Use HSS metal drill bits. Cool the bit with oil for best results. Metal bits can also drill plastic.
- Drilling in Wood: Use a wood drill with a centre point. Small screws in soft wood may not require pre-drilling.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Disconnect the mains plug and remove the battery pack (6) before any cleaning or maintenance.
The cordless drill/screwdriver is maintenance-free. Keep the device clean, dry, and free of oil or grease. Clean immediately after use. Do not allow liquids to enter the device. Use a cloth to clean the housing. Never use petrol, solvents, or cleaning agents that attack plastic.
When storing a Li-Ion battery for extended periods, check its charge regularly. Optimal charge is between 50% and 80%. Optimal storage climate is cool and dry.
