Dometic NRX Bottom Latch

Installation Instructions

This guide provides instructions for installing the bottom latch on Dometic NRX refrigerators. Please refer to the serial numbers provided to identify your version.

Step 1: Preparation

WARNING: Ensure proper electrical disconnection before proceeding.

CAUTION: Ensure the vehicle is stable and secured.

Step 2: Attaching the Latch Mechanism

For Old Version:

The image shows the old version of the latch mechanism being attached to the refrigerator door.

For New Version:

The image shows the new version of the latch mechanism. Follow the subsequent steps for installation.

Step 3: Securing the Latch

The image shows the latch being positioned and secured with screws (indicated by arrows). Ensure alignment with the designated points (labeled 'A').

Step 4: Adjusting the Latch

The image illustrates how to adjust the latch for proper engagement with the refrigerator body.

Step 5: Drilling and Mounting

This step involves drilling holes of Ø3.3 mm and ensuring a depth of 3 mm for mounting the latch components.

Step 6: Final Assembly

The image shows the final attachment of the latch mechanism using M4 screws. A tool for tightening is depicted.
