Razor MX125 Battery Replacement Instructions

Required Tools: (Not included)
- A. Phillips screwdriver
- B. 4 mm Allen wrench
CAUTION: To avoid potential shock or other injury, turn power switch OFF and disconnect charger before performing any assembly or maintenance procedures. Failure to follow these steps in the correct order may cause irreparable damage.
Step 1: Remove Battery Cover Screws
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the six (6) screws on the battery cover. There are three (3) screws on each side.

Step 2: Remove Battery Covers
Remove both battery covers and set them aside.

Step 3: Loosen Battery Bracket Bolts
Using a 4 mm Allen wrench, loosen and remove the two (2) hex bolts from the battery bracket.

Step 4: Disconnect Battery
Locate and disconnect the battery from the controller.

Step 5: Remove Battery
Remove the battery from the unit.

Note on Battery Bracket Orientation
The longer side of the battery bracket should be positioned on the left and the shorter side on the right.

Step 6: Reassemble
Reverse the procedures:
- Insert new battery in place and connect it to the controller.
- Re-attach the battery bracket and secure it with the two (2) hex bolts.
- Re-attach the left and right battery covers with the six (6) screws.
Attention: Charge battery 12 hours before using.
