Safety Precautions

Before using the YASHICA MF-1 camera, please read the following safety precautions carefully and ensure proper usage.

Avoid using, placing, or storing the camera in the following conditions:

Direct sunlight or near heaters
Temperatures above 40°C (104°F)
Humid or dusty places

Remove and store batteries when the product is not in use. Battery leakage can cause product damage.

Do not insert batteries with reversed polarity (+/-). This may cause malfunction.

Do not sit down with the camera in your pocket, as this may cause malfunction or damage.

Keep film out of the reach of children.

Shooting Distance

For best results:

Keep the sun behind you when shooting.
When using the flash, keep the subject within 1 to 3 meters (approximately 3.3 to 10 feet).

Flash Light

Turn the Flash Switch to 'ON' to take pictures with flash. Ensure the switch is turned 'OFF' after taking a photo or when the camera is not in use to conserve battery power. Replace with a new AA alkaline battery when needed.

How to Use

Open the back cover and set the Film Counter to 'E'.
Insert the film tip's second sprocket hole onto the hooks as shown in the diagram. Flatten the film and close the back cover.
Rewind the film in the direction of the arrow using the Rewind Crank until it stops. The Film Counter will indicate the number of exposures loaded.
Wind the Advance Wheel until it stops to take a picture. The Film Counter will indicate the number of remaining exposures.
When the last shot is taken, wind until 'E' is indicated, then open the film door to remove the film. For best results, store the film in a plastic case and process it immediately.
