ServiceRanger 4 Software Upgrade ­ Download and Install Procedure
Date: August 15, 2022
Step A: Download ServiceRanger 4 Software Upgrade 1. Click here to download software(1). · If using Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge, select "Save" when prompted. · If using Google Chrome, file automatically saves to computer.
Step B: Install ServiceRanger 4 Software 1. Locate " Service4Install...exe" file in location saved to or "Downloads" folder. 2. Right click on install file, select Run as administrator(2). 3. Go through the install process defaulting everything unless to select a different language. Note: Once program has been installed, installer closes, and "SR" icon is indicated in task bar. May have to select " " to view icon.

Step C: Monitor ServiceRanger 4 Database Download 1. Locate "SR" icon in task bar, left click icon once (only once) to open Update Manager. 2. Monitor upper right corner for database download status and wait until complete.

(1)To successfully install and operate ServiceRanger 4 your computer must meet the following system requirements:
· Platform: IBM or 100% Compatible · Operating System (32 and 64-bit versions):
o Windows 7 o Windows 8 o Windows 10 · Processor: 2.0 GHz or greater, dual core or greater · RAM Memory: 2 GB or greater, 4 GB or more recommended · Hard Drive: 10 GB available space · Display: SVGA (1024 x 768 pixels) Color · Internet: Internet connection required for updates · Required Software: Microsoft .Net Framework version 4.7.2 or greater
Before beginning the installation of the ServiceRanger 4 software it is strongly recommended that you exit all Windows programs.
(2)You must have full administrator privileges (admin rights) on the computer before these files can be installed. Note: If you do not have admin rights or have issues downloading or installing any of the files, contact your computer administrator for assistance.
If starting ServiceRanger 4 for the first time, you will be prompted to activate the software. To activate the software, you must enter the Serial Number and Order Number you obtained after completing: Create Account and Purchase License.
